If you are like me and my wife when we were: - Looking for a change! - Tired of being just a number and a Sunday Christian in a Mega Church that teaches false doctrines, handpicking and compiling different Bible verses, and twisting the Word to promote their political, financial and bigoted agenda - Looking to grow spiritually, learn in-depth teaching of the WORD verse by verse from the most humble Pastor and Church Leaders (Elders), and to encounter amazing people and develop meaningful friendship/relationship with such welcoming congregation. - Looking to focus on serving the surrounding community (not an unheard of remote town of a third world country to lay guilt on you so you can give more money and they can say its being used to help someone who you cannot verify, so just take their word for it) - Tired of Overwhelming Noisy Rock Concert for Worship Songs, with the band more focused on showmanship than leading on Worshipping the Lord. - Tired of display of arrogance, being on a pedestal, and not knowing your Pastor personally, cause you only know him via Satellite service, or he is too important to get to know his congregation in person. - Having a teen daughter/son who will be accepted by their Peers in the Youth Group who will be a good influence, and walk with them through their daily pressure of being a teen ager. - Tired of being Judged, or seeing other people be judged and condemned by the church and its hypocrite members. We are all SINNERS regardless of how big or small your sin is. Unfortunately, certain church tend to believe that there are acceptable and unacceptable sins, which gives them the right to judge, condemn and reject those who does not agree with their belief, but really needs God the most. - Tired of offering plate being passed around during service which forces/manipulates you to give. Tithing should be between you and God, not you and the Church, for God loves a Cheerful Giver, not give because of obligation or compulsion. 2 Corinthians 9:7 - Tired of Bureaucracy of Churches that only accepts you if you abide by their rules. Membership should never be a requirement unless you want to be a part of a Cult. - Just simply wanting to rely on His Grace and Mercy and not from any kind of works -Ephesians 2:8-9 . To be accepted for who you are. To know that someone will be there for you while you struggle with daily challenges of life. What I like about this church is that everyone is welcoming and that the church feels like home. It doesn't feel like a swapmeet where merchandise is being hawked at every corner and the best part is that the pastor does NOT shove politics down your throat from the pulpit. ( That is a big turnoff in my book) What pastor Caleb is interested in is introducing you to a man named Jesus Christ. He has NO desire to become famous or achieve notoriety in any way shape or form. He and Pastor Natalie are true leaders and Love this church!! The people are friendly and welcoming, the worship and teaching are incredible and impactful!! They have ministry available to all ages on Sunday and many opportunities to be involved throughout the week as well as in the community. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. We were also a little overwhelmed by the size of the congregation and the music; it was such a different experience from what we're used to in the Netherlands! The worship was inspiring, the messages were biblical, practical, and encouraging, and it was clear that this church has a genuine heart for people. One of our favorite memories is seeing our four-year-old son dancing during worship; he absolutely loved it! As parents traveling with young children, we also really appreciated the family room. It was a wonderful place where we could care for our baby while still being able to follow the service. After returning home, we continued following Impact Church online, and it has truly helped us grow closer to God. Even from across the world, we still feel connected and continue to learn from the sermons each week. The only thing I found a bit challenging was the strong emphasis on giving financially. At times, it felt like there was quite a bit of focus on it. That may simply be a cultural difference, though. Overall, Impact Church has been a true blessing to our family, and we're grateful that God led us there. If you're in the Phoenix area and looking for a welcoming, Bible-centered church, I would absolutely recommend visiting!

There's an incredible amount of young adults that go to their church which was awesome to see. The reason I give only 3 stars is because of the children's ministry. They were super friendly when I was dropping my 2nd grader off for the first time, but when I picked him up, I was bummed to see him sitting alone and no teachers around him. I was a bit late to get him, because I was talking, but I have served at many churches and no matter how late the parents are, the volunteers do not leave the children. He wasn't the last kid picked up and completely alone, but in the 2nd grade "area" it was just him with no adults. Also when we were walking out, the person I gave my tag too kind of ignored us and when I said thanks and goodbye, she just continued to talk to her friends that were nearby. So in a way I felt like people were kind and friendly, but not as welcoming as I hoped for a first time person. Wanting to try the church again and hopefully it will feel different next time.

Pastor and his wife are amazing people. They truly do care about the people in the church. The elders are super nice. I came in thinking that I would just hide in the back and hoping no one would notice me. Nope, boy was I wrong. Everyone greeted me. It's literally the most loving place I've been to so far here in Arizona and it has been truly amazing. Now, I look forward to Thursdays bible study, Women of Wisdom Saturdays, Sunday mornings and Singlehood Simplified Fridays. If you are new, my recommendation - bring a notebook and your bible. Pastor covers EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING. If I had any thoughts or questions from that week, I would write them down, and he would always answer all my questions in his sermons. It trips me out. He's good - really good. Maybe, he reads minds . Nah, just kidding. It's definitely God. I've taken some of my friends here from out of state -- ranging from all different religions, buddhist, muslim, etc. and they loved it. They wish they had a church like this in the Bay and in Hawaii. His way of teaching is unique -- truly an avant-garde way. It's different - it's not boring and they like to have fun. lol.

I do not recommend this business. I live with PTSD from the role St Jerome's parish had on my life…read moreduring the years 1987-1992. Thinking about it is hugely triggering. My father is a seminary dropout who was heavily involved with this parish. From ages 11-14 he was my stepfather. After I was forced to convert to Catholicism at St Jeromes, he became my father. Or that's what my birth certificate says now. Both of my "parents" were youth group leaders at St Jeromes, and St Jeromes is what I ate from age 14-17. I was forced to do all of this against my will and here is what it tasted like: Sunday nights Teen Mass --Wednesday night Teen Life--awful weekend retreats --a two week leadership camp--where I could become a Jr Youth Leader or get grounded instead so I could be high schooler who "ministers" to middle schoolers--even though I had absolutely no interest in doing so but that is what I did Monday nights--Friday teen church dances On Saturdays, gatherings in the homes of other members of the parish--pot lucks, pool parties. I don't remember what night they had that weird candlelit parent prayer group called the "brotherhood" and the "sisterhood," which was especially horrible when it was at my house. I didn't have a lot of unstructured time that did not involve St Jeromes or people from St Jeromes. My access to outside friends from school was often restricted, mom's tactics were to schedule tutoring during my lunch time and prohibit me from speaking to friends from public school on the phone. I only made friends with a handful of St Jeromes teens that also had an inability to take it seriously. The other youth leaders would tell my parents right away if I tried to ditch youth group or behaving badly as in laughing inappropriately at the pentecostal aspects of the church such as the speaking in tongues and hand-waving, or the liturgical dancing. The foot washing part was just disgusting. When I was home with my family, most of the time I was being dealt harsh mental, emotional, and sometimes physical abuse in conjunction to St Jeromes. I was not a bad kid. I did not get in trouble in school. I had decent grades. I begged to not go to St Jeromes, and at 17 I ran away because I could not deal with it anymore, moved in with my boyfriends family in Northern California. My father ( the St Jerome's youth leader, not my biological one) paid for his other daughter and son's college. I was pregnant 3 months before I was 18. I ended up back at home, because my boyfriends family had different problems, the relationships was doomed anyhow. He was supposed to come back to Arizona but he died. I was ill-equipped for adulthood, ended up back with my parents and forced back to St Jeromes. I became a stripper for a while to get out of their house. They took my daughter when she was 2. She left their home at 18. She is 31 now and has had no desire to speak to her grandparents ever since. It made so much sense when years later I checked to see if St Jeromes had been caught in any scandals and I found out about Father Dale. See Phoenix New TImes article- Cross to Bear...My parents thought he was amazing, went to visit at St Tim's in Mesa. So traumatizing, believe me I wish I could get over it. If the damage didn't linger so heavily, I wouldn't be writing this review.

Big bodyguard outside. They made me feel like an outcast. If I were a hurting soul seeking Christ, this experience would have turned me away. The Gilbert campus was similar. Mesa, at least they smile and seem to accept me except for one of the persons who works in the cafeteria. Weird experiences. Sermons here was pleasant. If you're looking for fire and brimstone, look elsewhere. This is a megachurch. I'm not out to tear down the body of Christ. No. We must build. But I felt like an outsider. I miss my brothers in the Midwest who follow the Jesus Life Together folks in Indy. Now, those folks truly love and live for Christ! Oh, and "Happy Easter" everyone! Right?
