I have been attending a particular church for the last 14 years off and on. And although there are so many things about churches, we can all say. Somewhere educational, somewhere all worship, there's so much to be said right. I live in Surprise Arizona and I went looking for a church That I really want to feel the Holy Spirit. I believe I found a home. Attending today Service I really would like to attend the later one next time. They're clearly is God's presence here. We all have one voice today and True form. The pastor was on point, and I felt God's breath in my ear. There are times that we don't really hear because we choose to. Clearly today I was more open but in retrospect, I thought everyone's voice spiritual voice. I will be back I will pray about this. I will ask God to find you a new home we're not only can I grow on the Bible, but spiritually connect and stay connected with the one who comes to comfort. They definitely need a bigger boat. A lot of people here. Will provide as he always does.God keep blessing this home his bride. It's 43 minutes, 33 miles from my home. People all over the world walk from miles just to attend service just to hear the word. We should never base how far something is or is not. God first, me second, Kids stirred. Cannot take care of my kids unless I'm taking care of my health spirituality all of it first. And I can't take care of that unless I'm taking care of my spiritual walk. He's recognize these are my spiritual opinions. Nothing else. It is very true and deep to my heart. And yes, I still get lost, it will be until my last breath. I will be back, God first. Raised Catholic, I have always felt like I needed more from church. I moved to Arizona about three years ago and really felt the need to explore new churches. I saw this one recommended in a Facebook group and gave it a try. I love the vibe and energy that I got from the church and the pastor was so relatable. Even the praise and worship and the announcements (man-camp music) were "lit" lol! I felt so welcome and looking around there was so much diversity and everyone was so kind. Afraid to commit I waited a couple weeks before I came back, but when I did I realized that this is the church for me. I think this was really my turning point because now I bring a notebook to church, I take notes, I watch sermons online I really connect more with my walk in faith. I didn't expect to find a church when I moved out here. I checked out a few Christian churches, even some spiritual centers but nothing resonated with me. I was born and raised Catholic, so because of that some Protestant churches just don't work for me. Sorry, I'm just not into all that hooting and hollerin' (or the threats of hell and damnation)! I'm also very spiritual (not necessarily religious), so I can be wary of religious zealots. But I've always been open to trying new churches out; so when my classmate invited me to come to hers, I thought sure why not! Well let me tell you, I was hooked from day one. FCC is uplifting, delightful and there is lots of praise singing. You can't help but join in! It is a non-denominational, multicultural church. The Sunday service is held at Saguaro High School at 10am. Praise & worship singing goes on until about 10:30. They also have bible study/service at 7pm on Wednesdays at their Phoenix location. FCC is very welcoming and has such a cute way of welcoming new visitors. Every so often, a new topic will be presented as part of a new series. It will be discussed for several Sundays/Wednesdays in a row. Afterwards, you can purchase the recordings in mp3/CD for safe-keeping. The "Sex" series had just started when I began attending. I was really impressed with how Pastor Moore handled the topic: he was very open, frank and respectful. Any children present were ushered into another room, so adults could feel free to enjoy this topic. I think it is a challenge for many Christians to follow God's word while traversing this terrain called "Earth". I found this series extremely helpful to me and anyone wishing to maintain closeness to God. Speaking of children, they have their own program on Sundays in another part of the building. I think this is really beneficial for them, allowing them to grow in their own faith with their peers. They have the opportunity to start developing relationships with like-minded individuals. This year celebrates FCC's 15th anniversary so they just held a 3-day celebration. And...I just officially took steps to become a member. I begin membership classes next month! I decided to come here for Easter service. Best decision ever. It's rare I review churches, but I had to let y'all know this place is the real deal. Since moving to town, I have visited a half dozen churches, but never felt inclined to go back for a second time. This will no longer be the case. The message was biblical, relevant and applicable. The pastor is clearly anointed. And the choir, AMAZING! They did a remix of a Misty Edwards song that I wish I would have recorded. I didn't even know other people knew about her. I have been to FCC many times and while the Pastor and his messages are great, I am disappointed in the ministry. As I mentioned, I have attended church here many times and although I didn't have much to give, I gave what I could. I recently fell on hard times and reached out to the church for assistance. I had been looking for the 'Right-for-Me' church for over a decade. As I have matured in the things concerning spirituality, I have become certain about two things: first, we all have a God-size hole in our hearts and we long to connect to a higher being, and second, not every church is for every churchgoer. Just like not every school is for every learner. Anyway, I moved from the East about four years ago and within that time I found Faith Christian Center. After attending a few services I realized that I had found my perfect-fit church. My spiritual life has been transformed since I became a part of this community. I believe it is because members are encouraged to be their best for God as well as in every other area of their lives. FCC is not religious, it's Christ-centered. It's not legalistic, it's realistic. It's not too big, nor too small. It's multicultural and non-denominational. It's a blend of the old spiritual- and new praise songs. It's for all ages. I normally don't review churches that I visit...but this one is awesome. If I lived in Phoenix, this would be my place of worship. The pastor delivered a real word-nothing too complicated...but relevant and applicable. Praise and worship was on point. The congregation and servants are MORE than welcoming. I did not feel like a stranger here. There is tons of love in this place, and they give it. This church has a good, young adult vibe, but with a mix of members-young and old. This is not my church, but I highly recommend worshiping with FCC! read more

The reason I write this review so that it helps anyone looking for a new church just the way I did. The praise and worship was excellent very much led by the Holy Spirit , could feel the presence of God and community worshipping together. Volunteers were very courteous and friendly.. warm feeling.. infact one of them came and encouraged me... just very nice.. there were a few ladies who even walked up and welcomed me to church.. They even welcome new comers the church was nice.. men and women well dressed.. generally I see people forget that they are going to the house of God.. It seemed like a healthy environment not the typical mega church scene. The Pastor.. great preaching intelligent great sermon.. was so committed.. hats off to him.. their baby was on the way and he was preaching at church.. that shows commitment ... From what I researched he is well educated and attended a Bible school He preached so well that he had everyones attention right up to the end.. did not feel like he was repeating the same point over and over again He also preached that .. it is important to preach what is in the Bible and lead people on the right path instead of just preaching what people like to hear instead.. strong values I also like that they had a altar call They also have recorded service and they have a seperate time to spend quite time with God in church .. which is great... Visited with my BFF Jenteel P. while visiting AZ. What a nice experience. Too being born and raised Catholic, then walking off into other areas of sects and religions, led me down a non denominational path. I am happy here. No rituals to follow or practice. Sheer praise and prayer. Easy. So, when visiting another church, I get leery. I had a nice experience at Faith CC. Very reminiscent of my home church in NY- CCC - Christian Cultural Center and my new home church in CA- Free Chapel. I can see "why" Jenn enjoys this church. Im happy she found a good one! Lord knows there are some shady ones out there. The folks here are very nice, the service is relatable, the ushers are helpful, everyone is friendly, praise and worship is on point and the crowd was not overwhelming. All good facets of a church...did I mention we went on Easter sunday. Had easy parking and did not have to sit on top of people to have a comfortable seat? Hands down, this is the best church I've ever been a part of. This church and its members changed my life and my relationship with God. Pastor Moore and Minister Erica break down the Word in extremely simple and relatable messages of the Bible to everyday life that inspire and CHALLENGE you to be the best version of yourself and enriching God's words to others. Worship team is on point. Very authentic relationships from ALL members and extremely welcoming atmosphere.
