Being that I am black, this was a real problem for me. Most of the congregation also responded negatively to people of color in their presence. It is a pitiful shame that blatant racism exists in the church. Black people go through enough racism on a daily basis without having to endure even more in the Lord's House. It is less than a mile from my house, so I have no excuse not to vote. The parking lot is flat and there are no steps entering the polling place so it is easy access for senior citizens and disabled voters. Don't know how they are for church services, but they're great for voting.
