Love the stained-glass windows, the abundance of wood, and the Christmas decorations (2 trees!). Singing group from L&CCC was spot on and really reflected the mood of the season. Even though there was not a large crowd in attendance (it was at 3:00 in the afternoon), everyone was friendly, warm, and welcoming. And, a further bonus - the pastor is an avid "Yelper!"

I think I come to this Church every time I am in Alton. I have seen my cousins get married here,…read morecelebrated holidays and been with family on numerous occasions. This past Monday we were here for the funeral of my 96 year old Aunt and the ceremony, homily and funeral luncheon could not have been more personal, professional and compassionate. Whatever your thoughts might be about organized religion, this church does an outstanding job of meeting the needs of its parishioners. Excellent job St. Mary's.
