We cannot thank Dr. Anderson, Blake, and Melissa enough for their care of our goodest boy, Tiko! They are so incredibly caring and compassionate. We started Tiko on the "pawspice" program, and it made the last months of his life less painful and stressful. He always got carsick going to the vet, so this was a wonderful way to reduce stressors when he was already dealing with a lot of pain. He was able to do his favoritest thing in the world, take his walks, until the last day. The team checked in regularly with us along the way, and Dr. Anderson and Blake fit us into their schedule when that dreaded day came. Tiko was able to stay at home surrounded by the people he loved with a belly full of treats. Dr. Anderson let us know every step of the way as we said goodbye, and then she and Blake let us spend time with our boy. I will never forget the respect and care with which they did a paw print and then tucked him onto the stretcher with a blanket around him and a pillow under his head. Feb 12, our family had to put our beautiful 10 yr old Rottweiler to rest. I struggle with the loss and grief still, but we as a family know it was what was best for our sweet boy. Blake advised us the last month or so of our boys life. When the time came they discussed with us what was going to happen. They gave us the time that we needed both before and after. It is a little difficult writing a review for the end of life care for you loved one. But Dr. Anderson is truly amazing and I am so glad I found her. My cat had been sick for a while but we had thought it may be a treatable diagnosis and learned that he had cancer and he was suffering a day before we had to say goodbye. We had brought him to the vet the day before and they said we could do it then. Because of COVID our primary vet had to tell us this over the phone. And we couldn't even fathom that we were offered to do it in that bright stark office where we couldn't hold him to make the decision and where he wasn't comfortable. So we decided to take him home and spend one more night with him. We looked for services that came to your home and we are so glad we found Dr. Anderson. You call directly to her cell phone and she called us back in just a few minutes. She was so compassionate and accounted for every single detail. She gave us a lot of options so we could do what we were comfortable with. We were able to get a paw print then and she gave us a lock of hair. And she came into our home during COVID so we could hold our sweet boy in a place where he was comfortable while he passed (she used a lot of safety precautions too). Death and dying is such a difficult thing but having caring compassionate people who help honor your loved one makes a world of difference. And we will never forget it.
