Told me to bring it in instead, couldn't help me over the phone. Called several other shops and was able to get the estimates I needed. Terrible/lazy customer service. read more

The previous husband-wife owners would apply the diagnostics charge toward the repair. They were honest, very friendly to deal with. Not the current owner. Front guy on the phone was respectful but did not charge me correctly on the bill I paid in full. Called me to admit their mistake and demanded more money. Refused to apply diagnostic charge to the repair. They threatened me with collections if I didn't comply. Whatever their reply is below won't correct or hide their dirt. Other mechanics will apply diagnostics cost to the repair.... call me for recomendations 719-331-1495 and stay way from this place. read more

$80 TEST DRIVE AND I SIiLL HAVE THE PROBLEM? in the past they have checked my truck out and if no maintenance work then no charge. I took the truck in for a squeaky belt which they should have heard standing next to it while it was running. They could look at the belt and see if it was worn and needed replacing. I have been to other shops and they have been the same, no charge if no maintenance done. They charged me $80 dollars for a test drive with no maintenance done. I never told them they needed to take it on a test drive if they could not hear the noise. They never got approval for the charge on a test drive before doing one! Even the person behind my daughter when she picked it up remarked about the charge. I heard the squeaking the last 3 times the truck was running before taking it in. So was not jumping the gun. Also heard it the whole drive in to drop it off and on the way home, after it was drove a ways. I have no explanation why they could not hear it especially if they test drove it, but believe them. I called and they said the charge would stay. Will not use them again. Pretty expensive test drive that helped my situation NONE! read more

Do you like having your time and money wasted? I took my car in last week to have it evaluated for a heating issue. They had the car for most of the day and said they could fix it for around $600, which included that days' evaluation, labor, and parts for the repair. I set up an appointment to have it fixed for this week. I dropped my vehicle off for the quoted repair that they said they could get fixed today. I received no phone call or text update in the 5 hours they had the car. Due to timing, my ride had to drop me off to wait at the shop until they were done. We were quoted about 2 hours originally. Mike (the receptionist) was surprised to see me, because they didn't call. He then comes up to me and said that there was more wrong than what they had originally quoted, but did not have a new quoted price for the new repairs. In this auto shop, apparently only one person is qualified to give estimates Mike said they had looked into the car, started a brand new estimate, but didn't finish it before leaving for lunch. I'm glad he only let me know because I was there in person and actually needed to tell me the problem. They said that this new found problem was what caused the original damage and it could not be fixed without everything being done at once. As an important functioning piece to the heating system, it should have been caught in the original eval. This is frustrating for multiple reasons, especially because they already had my car open for evaluation? Is this a common business practice to get more money from people? Obviously. Why not tell people an "unexpected problem" was found and now we need more money to fix it. I'm sure the issues with my heating is true, but Im positive this was already known by them and a way to get me to pay more than quoted. With this news, I decided that they needed to put my car back together and to take my business elsewhere. Mike had a bad attitude about it and that he said he was doing me a favor. I really appreciated the extra sass when I asked for an itemized receipt and a copy of the car evaluation they did. At least I was trying to be thorough. You would think they would have better standards for a female-owned local business. I will be taking my care somewhere else with quality staff and apparently better car knowledge. read more

Went in for an oil change and they forced the oil filter on, causing our car to blow part of the engine block. Now, they are literally lying about what they said to us and what happened. Instead of just admitting fault and fixing their mistake, they lied. Unfortunately we will be taking legal action against them when they could have just fixed it. (Since I know they'll reply and lie more, the car came in with noise that we were aware of. The oil filter was forced on and I have the parts to show that. I also have another certified mechanic that verified this and they still refuse to fix their mistake.) DO NOT GO HERE EVEN FOR SIMPLE THINGS (like an oil change). Not sure where people are coming up with such terrible reviews. The people and service at Falcon Auto is amazing! I have been in sales and service my entire career, so I tend to hold people and businesses to a very high standard when it comes to getting good service. I have never had an issue with the service I receive from this company. They are honest, and do the job correctly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! People need to realize that when you take a vehicle to a repair shop, you are paying for: Knowledge experience tools services time punctuality accountability professionalism safety and security business expenses You may a lot to go to a doctor and sometimes the doctor won't have the answers for you, or there are several symptoms that can be causing your illness. The same is said for trying to diagnose and work on a car. Realize you went to someone because you could not or would not do it yourself. read more

I went in to get a pre-purchase inspection, hoping to get an estimate of the potential repairs of the car. So when the pre-inspection was done, you can understand my frustration when they refused to give a price. Even when I pressed for a ball park number, the clerk guessed instead of using the resources (aka computer) in front of him to give me an actual price. I consider that a very big factor in whether I buy the car or not so that was very frustrating. But my bad, what should've I expected for only paying $65 for a pre-inspection when other more places have bare minimum of $100? I have taken a couple different vehicles here as it's local, they always give me a great breakdown of what my vehicles need . The repairs I have had them do have been done very professionally and quickly. Their prices are always lower than the company I use for my fleet repairs , if my business was on the east side of town I would definitely switch my fleet vehicles to them as well read more

Absolutely love this place! They have always taken great care of our vehicles. The action that really blew me away was when I got full brake work and some engine work prior to a deployment. So disappointed and frustrated. We're new in town and looking for a reputable mechanic. Falcon Auto came highly recommended. We took our car in for a simple repair, were told it would be over $600 and needed a bunch of other work and when we decided to get the work done elsewhere for a much lower price we were charged $100 for the diagnostic work (even though it was a quick look under the hood kind of diagnosis). Took my 2015 Ford Fiesta to get a front end alignment. They put my car up and withen minutes they tell me they can't align the front end due to my lower tie rod needs replaced on the passenger side. Then they charge me $15 to tell me this and $5 for shop fees and $2 tax. Shop fees? They used nothing not even a paper towel. Tax? Tax on what? So the shop fee comes out to 33%. Even dealerships will check your alignment for free. Not here. read more

I had my car towed to Falcon Auto Repair & Tires on a Saturday night after my alternator belt broke and my car died on a nearby highway. I then called them on Monday morning and spoke with Val, who was very friendly and understanding. I explained to her what had happened, and that I couldn't afford to have anything diagnosed or fixed unless it was absolutely necessary. She assured me that they would do no work at all without asking first. True to her word, she called me back after they had checked to be sure that it was only the belt, and no pullies were involved. She gave me an exact price, down to the penny. I approved the work, as the price was reasonable. Later, I received another call, this time to advise me that my battery was dead and not holding a charge. They had a replacement and would install it for me. The price was about double what I would have paid if I had bought a similar battery at the local Walmart, but I had no choice, as transportation to get there was a problem, and bad weather was swiftly approaching. I would have given 5 stars if the parts price was more reasonable. The staff was friendly and honest. They got my car done before the snow hit, and she's back to purring like a kitten. Overall, I was pleased with the overall experience, and would likely recommend Falcon Auto Repair to others, mostly based on the friendliness of the staff, and the efficiency with getting the job done. read more
