Chris came out the next day, at no charge. He fixed the problem and cleaned the glass before he left. Fabulous customer service! It is obvious this small business takes pride in their work.

    These guys were great. They were on time, polite, listened to what we wanted, did a great install…read morejob, left everything clean and tidy, and were relatively inexpensive. I would also call them "low drama." When the installers put on a different shower door handle than what we ordered, we called the office to ask if it could be replaced with the one we ordered. I talked with Chris about it, and he looked into what happened. He explained that even though they had ordered the handle we requested, their supplier had sent the standard package. He said he would re-order our handle and call us when it came in to schedule putting it on. True to his word, about a week later we got a call saying the handle had arrived and asking when we would like to schedule the install. A dude came out as scheduled, and installed the new handle in just a few minutes with a smile on his face. Would it have been better if they had noticed the handle order discrepancy before initial install? Sure, but mistakes are inevitable, and how they handled the situation was perfect. They have earned our trust as a result. We have already recommended them to someone else looking for a new shower door, and would definitely hire them again.

    DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. EVER! I wanted to say this first in case you don't want all the details…read more I can't even count the times Kristin either didn't respond or lied to us about our shower door. This saga began with the shutdown when manufacturing in Washington State was shut down. So we waited for phase 1. Once phase 1 happened we had a schedule for our shower door. Then the excuses and lies began. Time after time we were promised a date and time and time again we waited at home. Most times we didn't get a status update until the next day when we texted for a status. More broken promises more delays. A week ago we thought we would get our glass shower enclosure. On Wednesday 6/24/2020 Kristen said the hinges were to be delivered by 1:30 and they would install our enclosure that day. Later that day she told us that the hinges didn't fit and they would have the door remade to fit the hinges. Kristen said they would put a rush job on the shower door (it has to be tempered) and it should be ready Friday morning and they thought it could be installed Friday afternoon on 6/26/2020. Since we had so many broken appointments with us waiting around all day, I asked Kristin to pick a day when she was sure they could come out for an early appointment. She chose a few days later, 6/30/2020, at 9 am to be sure the glass would be done and ready for install. Today, on 6/30/2020 at 8:50 am, I text Kristen because I haven't heard if the installation crew is on its way. She tells me the glass is just now getting tempered and the installation should start by 3 pm today. I got no status updates about the delay until I texted her. At 3:32 Kristen texted us to say "Our guy is still waiting for it there. Touch base when it's on our truck!" I texted back "Wow. This is really frustrating that it wasn't done last week. Thank you for the update. My blood pressure goes up thinking about this." That was the last communication. It is now 9:05 pm and I have heard nothing. We are done with Northwest Glass. I am sad, angry, and hearbroken that we have wasted all these months only have deceit, lies, and broken promises from Northwest Glass. If you want unimaginable frustration then try Northwest Glass. We are so done with their excuses and broken promises of service. I have heard that some people's installation goes fine but I am telling you, when they go wrong, they go horribly wrong with apparent lies and no proactive information on their part. My advice is DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I wish we would have read these reviews before we agreed to use Northwest Glass. As of July 7th we never heard anything more such as an apology or explanation. I posted this on Google too. It shows this business temporarily closed.

Full of lies and excuses and no follow through…read more We bought a house and part of the agreement was that the seller pays for a failing window to be repaired. The sellers chose NW glass. The window was "supposed" to be installed twice before we moved in but for covid reasons they were unable. We moved in on a Wednesday, were told the measurements were wrong so they had to reorder and it would be in by Thursday. I waited around all day Thursday for nothing to happen- I let my realtor know and she let the sellers know and they tried reaching out to NW glass with no success. I was told they rescheduled to install between 8:30 and 9:30 am. And at this point i wasnt even upset because i hadnt been dealing with them at all, and stuff happens and maybe it was an honest mistake. I was flexible and patient and it was ok. Friday 8:30 rolled around, then 9:30, then 10... nobody came. And then at 10:30, i got a knock on the door- a guy, unmasked, said hes here to take measurements of my window. So i let him go to the back to measure the window and he left. I let my realtor know that nobody came to install the window but came to measure the window. She told the sellers and then i got a call from the realtor telling me that the sellers and the company have no idea who came to measure the window and that i shouldnt be too alarmed but just cautious because apparently nobody sent him. So a little nervous that someone random has my address knows i have a broken window and knows how to access my home, I decided to call Nw glass and talk to them directly. I spoke with Kristen who profusely apologized for all of the inconvenience and frustration. She said she has been working from home and normally has more communication with the installers but since covid she didnt have as much direct access. She said she would call me back with some answers. She called me back at like 6 pm that night saying she still hasnt heard back from the installers but that she would reschedule the install for monday first thing and that she would call me in the morning when they were on their way again profusely apologizing and asking if she can buy me dinner or send me gift cards for the trouble. Monday rolls around, she called me at 9 am she said she was sorry but she didnt want to bug me over the weekend but that Thursday they had car troubles so thats why they didnt come... Her story for this time was that the window measurements were wrong so they had to order new glass and it would be in by thursday. UMM WHAT?! Thats the same story from last week. And I questioned her about the random man who showed up at my house to take measurements on friday, which she said it mustve slipped her mind that it WAS one of her guys who came out. She again went on and on about sending me gift cards for the trouble and inconvenience but i told her the sellers would need to decide if they want to give them another chance. I also told her about the several horrible reviews online, and she said the reviews were about another company with a similar name, and i told her they specifically mention her name and at that point she just continued to apologize and said they would make it right via gift cards or free installation. I passed the info along to the sellers and we went with a new company who were communicative and honest and professional. Honestly if they just said it takes 6 weeks to get the material, instead of lying and making everyone wait around for them to communicate they might have a better shot at keeping business but this was unbelievable! AND i never got any gift cards!
