I've been a patient at this doctor's office for several months, and recently, my experience has…read morebeen incredibly frustrating. I would strongly discourage everyone and anyone from going to Certified Foot and Ankle Specialists. There are number of issues when dealing with this facility: 1. They force the patient to have an MRI in their Boynton Beach office, they double billed the insurance company and when you try to resolve the issue you can't get anyone on the phone. I've made no less than 7 phone calls to speak with the billing manager (Debbie) and I never receive a return call. 2. To make matters worse, I was essentially forced to use the office's designated lab for my routine tests. I felt pressured, with little to no choice, as the office strongly suggested I only use their in-office partner lab, which ended up being much more expensive than other options I had researched. But the most troubling part of all was learning that the office doesn't even review the test results in-house. Instead, they outsource the analysis to another provider - Boca Radiology and now I'm getting a separate invoice from Boca Radiology. I was left waiting a few weeks for critical health information, with no communication from the office about the status of my tests. When I insisted on going to Rayus for the MRI, the doctor stated it is better to have the test in his office and I was never told I would get a separate invoice from Boca Radiology. 3. The office in Boynton pushes their own devices, including rubber heal inserts and the orthopedic boot when it is not required. Overall, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the lack of transparency, the billing confusion, and the unnecessary outsourcing of services. I expect better from my healthcare providers.

Well, today (8/25/2026) I brought my 84 year old mom (with her walker) into the store to purchase another pair of shoes ..she lives in Lake Worth, so it is a bit of a drive. We decided to go back to this store because we both purchased New Balance sneakers in February...and the gentleman that helped us back then was very nice! Don't recall his name... But today was an entirely different experience- I see that there are other comments and reviews for the woman behind the desk- rude and unsympathetic. Lisa C. nailed it with her comments in her review. We walked in and the first thing she said was, "do you have an appointment" and I said No. I asked if my mom could get a pair of shoes and she said "No - you need an appointment- booked for the day"! Then she said quite abruptly "you should have called"...hahahaha- really... I said I was here in Feb. and we just walked in- I asked her when they changed the policy, and she said about a month ago... Unless you are a customer that visits this store every day, how would one know about this policy change? { I viewed the website before I wrote this review and it doesn't even state anything about the required appointment - except: "Appointments for medical issues are highly recommended". Actually, the main webpage states: " We're not your everyday shoe store! Call us today to see how we can help you"! Now that is a pleasant and welcoming statement- too bad they don't carry over that business model into their store.} Then I asked the woman if I could speak to the man who was helping (the one and only customer in the store), and she said "No, you can't" - Hold on whoa!! What is her attitude? Well at that point I turned to my Mom and her aide and said "we are leaving; they are very disrespectful" ...As I passed by the man, I spoke to him directly anyway...asked if he could quickly see my Mom since she is elderly and doesn't get out much....I intentionally spoke to him because unless you are my GOD, you are not going to tell me who I can or can't communicate with...I found out he is the owner and he said he has no staff and he is very ill - of course, I am so sorry for your situation, but you should fire your rude staff person and close up shop now... perhaps you just don't care how you treat people! Karma works in strange ways. Thank goodness for FLEET FEET - they were very accommodating, and my Mom was in her new pair of $150 sneakers within an hour after we left your shop. If I could convince others reading this review not to come to your store then I have accomplished one small deed. Last, Macelle L. wrote a review -she has been going to this store for over 10 years and " has read the bad reviews....The key is to always be kind and compassionate no matter what" - The owners should take her advice!
