Both doctors are especially caring and always take the necessary time needed. Unlike many doctors, they don't rush you out and watch the time clock. Dr. Rudnick is a very knowledgeable physician who retired and then returned to practice medicine part time. He is up to date on current orthopedic medicine issues and adds extensive years of practice which includes surgery. I don't hesitate in highly recommending him. As a summary, these are the best reasons to go to Dr. Rudnick; 1. He genuinely cares about his patients 2. He has a great staff 3. There is very little waiting time at his office 4. He has many years of experience 5.He is up to date on current orthopedic issues 6. He is an experienced surgeon although he no longer does surgery 7. When I started treatment about two months ago, I had difficulty walking short distances, but yesterday I walked 6 miles. Dr. Burack recommended physical therapy which as been a huge help! I highly recommend Dr. Burack. I also have to commend the front office staff and also the nursing staff, both of which have been really terrific. I've found the staff very friendly and very efficient. The wait time to see Dr. Burack has been terrific. I have several other doctors that keep me waiting over an hour, never at South Palm Otrhospine! 10-15 at the most, several times I just walked right into my appointment. He told me to come back in three months and I could get it again. Made an appointment and when I got there, no DeFelippo so I saw Piza who refused to inject my knee. He did an xray of my back and told me I had stenosis which I knew. Most people as they age get this. He said my knee pain was from my back and said I needed to get an MRI which I did. I called for an appointment because my back and my knee are killing me. I need a shot in the knee and an epidural in my back - I've gotten those and they've helped for years. The person on the phone said I had to come in for a consultation I said I do not need a consult about the MRI. I said Piza should look at it and treat me. I said I don't care what he charges Medicare but I need to be treated. This robot kept saying Piza doesn't do telemedicine. I said I don't want telemedicine I want an appointment to be treated. He refused. What a horrible office. I'd rather suffer in pain than go there.

Over the last year or so I've noticed office staff changes. The former people were happy, these are not. Now the physical therapy department has all new therapy employees and the office staff and patients (me) were not informed. They showed up for work and there's all new people there. I drove quite a distance to see a specific therapist and when I get there I'm told he's no longer there. I get more respect from my hair salon. Every time I come to him, he says, " What did you do now?" With a chuckle, of course. I really appreciate that he is not quick to suggest overly invasive remedies - he's a fan of PT and now I am, too, and natural ways to reduce inflammation and increase strength to prevent injury. I have learned that many injuries are simply due to weakness and, for me, overtraining, but he gives me the guidance and care I need so I can continue to train safely. It's also pretty easy to get an appointment when you want. On the other hand, I do find his front desk staff to be aloof and cold, and often I have to wait a very long time to be seen, but it's par for the course at so many medical practices, unfortunately.

However, despite this being a clear oversight, the prescription for physical therapy was only given for one hand. My father called to request an update, and the staff outright refused, insisting that we come in person. I went in today, and it was met with dismissive, rude behavior from the receptionist who refused to help. After years of loyalty, this practice has been a complete disappointment--both in care and in customer service. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge others to look elsewhere for professional, respectful care.
