Falkirk High is one of two train stations in Falkirk (the other station is Falkirk Grahamston) and connects Falkirk to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. It's a small, staffed station with two platforms; one for trains heading East and one for those heading West.
The station is situated a short, five minute walk from Falkirk's town centre. It has seating, WiFi, payphones, toilets and, apparently a newsagent, but I didn't spot it. More interestingly, it has a small, metal sculpture of "Antonine the Legendary Engine" by George Wyllie, which is protected by the Railway Heritage Committee. read more
