After being introduced to this farmers market a little over a year ago via a Yelp event put on by community manager Brittany, I now buy my soaps, eggs, meats, and pickles exclusively from this market. I'm happy to say that I've spent close to $1k on stuff that dramatically improved my skin and improved my health. This Christmas I bought bulk soaps to give away as gifts so as to introduce friends and family to the brands at this market. I would highly recommend this market because it gives a sense of comfort. The people were kind and made you feel at home.

We enjoyed the Blue Butler Coffee booth. They're the reason we came to this market. They had a booth at a market closer to our home for a while and we needed more beans. We picked up a bag of Codoba Royal, we split an iced coffee drink, and a couple Argentinian empanadas, one ham and cheese and another beef, the beef was 6 stars.

I'm surprised no one's reviewed yet. So I'm a massive introvert (social anxiety), and getting me anywhere other than the walls of my room or the inside of an airplane is like pulling teeth. But I came out to the Fall Creek Farmer's Market because I've been wanting to check it out for about a year--my family was supposed to moved to to the neighborhood, but ended up near Summerwood instead. Family and pet-friendly, there were about a dozen tents offering anything from fitness products, to Girl Scouts cookies, to seafood and granola, to full meals. I picked up some salmon ($10) from Clawtel Ranch, plus a bath bomb and sample handmade by Nick Diodati ($6), and pecan brittle from the Wooding Street Candy Company ($8). Overall, really neat stuff. I hosted a show in Baton Rouge for seven years showcasing small business, so naturally I'm all for supporting the community. Farmers markets are one of the best ways to do that.

Swung by to visit the market... It was in the same general area, but in a different parking area. There were some new vendors and some old friends. It was a fun visit.

We love our Sunday outings to the Farmer's Market. Coffee is a must. The smoked BBQ is awesome although the shrimp and grits on the secret menu is the best outside of Charleston, SC. Ask Marc to see if he has any smoked boudin on the grill. My favorite is the homemade Vietnamese egg rolls. They sell out quick so get there before noon. Look for Jonathon who greets with a huge smile! Support #BuyLocal

Yelp Elite bags were much needed and appreciated!

The manager I believed welcomed me BACK. I said "Oh thank you", but in my head I was thinking this was my first time back in months, lol. I must have a twin, lol. Ok, back to the review. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. There's also plenty of seating in a quaint, charming little market setting, making it a great spot to sit, relax, and enjoy your drink. Definitely a hidden gem--I'll be back to try more flavors! 5 stars!

Houston Flea Market is the definition of "you get what you pay for." It's overcrowded, disorganized, and feels like a maze of the same vendors selling the same cheap imported products over and over. The aisles can be dirty, parking is chaotic, and customer service varies wildly depending on who you're dealing with. Prices aren't always the bargain you'd expect either--many sellers charge close to retail unless you're willing to haggle. The food is one of the better parts, but it isn't enough to make up for the overall experience. If you're hoping to find unique antiques or hidden treasures, you'll probably leave disappointed after digging through piles of low-quality merchandise. Unless you specifically enjoy the flea market atmosphere or know exactly what you're looking for, there are much better ways to spend your time.

It's close to Costco and H-Mart, and near H-Mart you'll also find Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours. There's an 85°C nearby as well and with Costco right next door, you could easily spend half a day hopping between all these places. On weekends, traffic can be pretty crazy and parking isn't easy since everyone shops then. However, if you come on a weekday especially outside of lunchtime--it's much easier to find a parking spot. Inside 99 Ranch, there's a food court with options like San dong noodles, dim sum, stir-fry dishes, and Chinese barbecue. On the other side of the plaza, there are also several restaurants, including Korean spots and Vietnamese crawfish places. As for the store itself, there are always clearance items near the Kung Fu Tea area, which we usually check out before heading in to shop for fruits, produce, vegetables--pretty much everything. I found my favorite Japanese soy milk but this was banana flavored. Way too sweet for me and it was $4/carton. It's a large store and they offer a loyalty program. If it's your first time visiting 99 Ranch, you could easily spend an hour just roaming the aisles. There's so much to see--it almost feels like a little field trip every time we go.
