I believe that this stay is the best retreat for a couples romantic escape or if you just want to getaway from it all. I recommend this cozy country crib!

Sandra called me earlier in the day to find out if we needed anything and what we wanted for breakfast. When we arrived she could not have been nicer and the room was stocked with all sorts of goodies. She offers free wifi and has a great tv with satellite. We woke up to an outstanding breakfast with scrambled eggs, oatmeal, bacon, and guacamole (made fresh from her own avocado trees). I will find a reason to come back soon and we could not recommend highly enough.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and truly dreamy. One of the highlights was the porch with a fireplace, which offered stunning views for both sunrise and sunset--an unforgettable way to start and end the day. The staff was amazing and extremely attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast-in-bed style service was a wonderful touch and very accommodating, adding to the overall charm and comfort of the experience. With all that said, they truly deserve an additional five stars for the incredible role they played in helping me create a magical wedding proposal. Their attention to detail, care, and genuine effort turned an already beautiful stay into a once-in-a-lifetime moment. My then girlfriend--now my fiancé--was completely blown away. I cannot recommend The New Inn Hotel enough for anyone looking for romance, elegance, and exceptional service

It was good Didn't give 5 stars because that pool is just a large jacuzzi. But I get it cause the property is only comprised of 6 rooms or so. Also there were gnats in the shower (I think coming from the drain) But all in all my husband and I had a great time here. Will recommend to our friends who are looking for a romantic getaway.

Last minute stay with my husband since we were visiting family in the area. I booked a king…read morestandard room online with no issues..... Checked in around 10pm and no one was at the check-in desk. After a few, a young lady walked in from outside to help & we were assigned our room..... We started making our way to our room & things already started feeling a little sketchy. We noticed that the property didn't appear to be well kept. Also we noticed random broken things around the property. We saw a broken fire extinguisher case near our parking space. No fire extinguisher & just broken glass. We also saw a large broken glass window just layed up against one of the walls by the swimming pool..... Once we entered our room we noticed a very musky smell right away. More than likely because the building is on the older side. So, we decided to put on the a/c right away. We were then shocked to see that someone had tagged inside the lid of the a/c control panel (ghetto). Right away this gave me the ick feeling..... Once we put our things down I made my way to the restroom. BIGGEST shock out of everything. Apparently the check-in person decided to give us an ADA room for a handicap person. What!? That is NOT what I had booked. What made it worse is that we did not have a door for our bathroom. So weird..... The bathroom looked horribly cleaned and maintained. The floor was coming apart, the entry way to the bathroom was coming apart, broken window in the shower, dirty soap dish in the shower & a random long hair in the shower wall..... Was this bathroom even cleaned? I should've went back to the front desk to bring up these issues. But honestly, we were just so tired. We decided to just bring it up to the staff in the morning...... Woke up and made our way back to the lobby for their free breakfast. Very limited items.... Took this time to address the ADA room issue. The check-in person apologized and advised that this never happens..... BUT, it did. I was then advised that they were very booked and by the time we checked in they gave us what was avaliable. I explained that this is NOT good customer service. Especially if we had pre-booked and paid for a standard room.... This facility shouldn't be over booking their rooms & just automatically give their guest whatever room is available. We should've been given the room that we had booked and prepaid for. This experience was not a quality one from Quality Inn. I'm hoping this was just a random bad experience.... They really need to work on their property upkeep and sanitation......

Patel, was very rude and unhelpful. I explained that the reservation was under my husband's name, but instead of helping resolve the issue, he gave me a hard time and insisted the reservation needed to be changed before allowing us to check in. While waiting in the lobby, I also overheard several guests complaining about bed bugs, which was already concerning. Once we finally got into our room (Room 153 on the first floor), we turned on the lights and immediately saw multiple roaches scatter across the room. Some were even crawling on the tables, and one had an egg case attached to it. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. We packed up immediately and returned to the front desk. The employee came to inspect the room himself, and it was so obvious that there was no argument or hesitation--he refunded us on the spot. We left and had to find another place to stay late at night because there was no way we were going to spend the night in that room. This was, without question, the most disgusting hotel experience I've ever had. Between the rude customer service and the severe roach infestation, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Unless you want to risk bringing home unwanted pests, stay far away

A hotel guest even went out of her way to tell us how much she loved her room stay. Game-wise, they have a good variety from penny slots to high rollers, plus a great mix of classic machines. Like any casino, the slots are hit-or-miss; some pay out a bit, others are tight. Although there's a smoke-free area, the smell lingers so I did see some people wearing masks due to the smell. Unfortunately, my family visited again this past weekend (June 4-7, 2026) and experienced another problem. This time, we were charged at a restaurant and sports bar that we never visited. As of today, no one from the casino has contacted us to apologize or make things right. We've spent hours on the phone with both our bank and the casino, with no meaningful resolution other than having to cancel our credit cards ourselves to prevent the charges from going through. We are extremely disappointed. Our family has been coming to Pala for more than 25 years, and it's upsetting to experience these issues. If these unauthorized charges are happening to other patrons as well, that is very concerning. What a shame to see a place we've enjoyed for so many years leave us feeling this way.

We stayed at his latest build, The Beach House, which was beautiful! The tiny house is fitted with everything one might need to take a small vacation; two beds, two floors, HDTV with Netflix, bathroom, and full kitchen. There are plenty of little areas between areas that Greg has put in there to allow for storage while still having the little homes feel uncluttered and open-floored. The pool area is so nice! There's a very nice pool lined with a great selection of plants, palm trees, and a small waterfall feature. There's a jacuzzi that you can jump into and enjoy. There is a couple small tables where you might want to sit and eat something, a chimney with firewood already provided by Greg and Michelle, and a BBQ if you want to chuck some steaks on there and grill.
