Each time I have showed up on a weekend in January and they were not too busy. There is a dirt lot to park in next to a large covered area where they offer fresh food items as well as a souvenir shop. Unfortunately I did not try the food but from what I saw, it looked great. There are many rows of strawberries to pick from. At one point we had the whole field to ourselves. There are so many beautiful strawberries that are plump and ready for picking. They provide you with a flat that holds 10 lbs, but you can overfill it to 15 lbs or maybe even more. The price is very reasonable at $3.50/lb. This is my go to strawberry picking farm. As long as they are open, I will continue to come here once a year.

It all started when we checked in and got our first cup of feed for the day. A short stroll over to their petting zoo led us straight to the donkeys, goats, and some of their youngest Highlands. We strolled around their petting zoo while we wait for our tour to start. After a proper introduction to all of the animals in the petting zoo, we loaded onto a tractor driven by an infant and a farm dog and were taken farther onto the property and there they were! There were at least a dozen Highlands ready for eating! We were given buckets with pellets and the feeding began! Feeding the cows was absolutely hilarious. Loved to see all their wildly different personalities. Some a gentle as a butterfly, some charging at you like a bull after a red flag! We loaded back up on the tractor (yes, the baby was still driving) and headed back to the front where, thankfully, there was a handwashing station. What a fun and funny experience on this close knit family farm!

About an hour and 15minute drive from orlando , this cute family owned and operated farm is fun for a few hours. The country roads are so peaceful and there are plenty of parking spaces. The owners live on the property and are so nice. We got to play with their 2 little ones ( one a new born ) and they are so knowledgeable. There are wash stations and Porta potties on site so it's easy for parents with kids. They don't serve food but do have cold water and lemonade for sale and you can purchase cute little souvenirs as well. They have chickens, goats, alpacas, several Hyland cows and a beautiful horse on property. We stayed for about 2 hours as there is much else to do after feeding the animals and taking photos. They are not open year round so you have to catch them on Instagram when tickets go on sale. I purchased mine back in August !! Go get your Hyland cow on and enjoy the fall weather in plant city, don't forget there are a lot of cool farms and places to eat local as well.

There was a lot of meat from a couple of suppliers and it was quite pricey...BUT I've been looking for a local meat supplier. I'll need to dig into details on who they are, where they come from and their practices... I believe there are some harvest gatherings/festivals/meals or something they do, at least once a year. A friend and I were going to go this past fall but for some reason we didn't. So we said this time around, if they do offer something in the fall, we definitely want to check it out! I will add this to my list of local farming spots to get fresh and locally grown produce and other stuff!

But after walking through, I thought it was nice just feeling like you are in a field of wildflowers just being super carefree. There were a few vendors, and they sold snacks like kettle corn, drinks, etc. They had games like badminton, the bean bags, rubber ducky water races, and swings. They also have a hay ride. There was sun and shade. We brought out umbrellas for added shade through the flower fields. This was a super fun experience! I'll be back in the fall for their corn maze! I can't wait! Check this out! They will do it next weekend for one last time. It doesn't say it on the website, but for sure they are doing it!

We brought our mats, masks (not needed), water bottles (goats liked them, too, so we didn't use them after they inspected them), and high hopes to have a good time. We were not disappointed. Before yoga, the owner talked about goat etiquette as Mistletoe, one of the older goats, wandered amongst us - maybe 25 to 35 of us. A few baby goats by the back of the enclosed area also roamed. Our yoga instructor was introduced to us, and she let us know that she did not mind if we paid more attention to the goats than to her. By the way, she was excellent. But the goats were more tempting to enjoy. Just before the yoga class started, the owner opened a gate and about 50 goats entered our area! There were young ones and slightly older ones, males and females, and goats of every color. The next 45 min. was spent doing a little yoga (instructor had goats around her and on her & she kept going) and hugging, petting and holding goats. After class, we posed for pictures and lingered a little longer with the goats that had not yet meandered away for lunch. We did not buy any goat cheese, goat fudge, or jam, but we were tempted. This was a wonderful time and we'll be back with friends and family.

Morgan came out and greeted us and she was extremely welcoming to us. She spent so much time showing us around, took us to the venue's really big decor room, and she was giving us suggestions on different ways the decorations can be used. The best part about this large decor room was EVERYTHING is included and there's so much to choose from and the options are endless. I really appreciate that Morgan explained everything so thoroughly and was actually happy to answer our many questions. She showed us pictures of my daughter's colors from previous weddings to give us a visual idea of what it would look like and showed us different floor plans. You can tell she loves her job, and was proud of this beautiful, breathtaking venue! After the tour, she allowed my daughter to go back and take even more videos and pictures while FaceTiming her fiancé and they both were so happy and in love with it. My daughter said she knew in her heart that this would be the venue that she would be getting married at. She didn't think any other place would make her feel the way this place did. It checked all of the boxes, except her planned wedding date wasn't available. So, she changed her wedding to a month later! That is very telling, because she wasn't flexible with the month. That night, she dreamed about it, and within 2 days, we cancelled all the other venue tours, and we all knew this that "Ever After Farms" was the place that made her heart happy! No other place could possibly compare! Morgan has continued to be so responsive with the many texts that were sent. We have been so grateful. Yes, we love this beautiful venue, but if Morgan wasn't so helpful and was always so supportive, we would have visited those other venues! My daughter said, "There is no reason to keep looking. When you know, you know". Today is Tuesday, May 12th and my daughter and her fiancé signed the contract. We are all part of the "Ever After Farms" family! Trust wherever they guide you for the biggest berries- we took their advice and went way out in the back and found seriously the most gigantic blueberries I've ever seen in my life. They were as big if not bigger than cherry tomatoes! You won't find those at your local grocer! Each row of berries is labeled with a color ribbon because they don't just have one type of berry- some are sweeter, some are more tart. The owner said that it's nice to pick some from each row, especially if you're planning on making a pie because you'll have a mix of all the great flavors. I'm sad that they're already closed for the season, but we will be back next season!
