The dental hygienist was extremely thorough with the cleaning and polishing of my teeth as well as the x-ray and physical exam of my teeth and gums. Dr. LaManna takes the time to explain everything that is going on with your teeth and gums. She also made sure to give me information about how to rectify any problems that I was having with my teeth. I would highly recommend the Lakeshore Family Dentistry office! I don't care to go to the dentist for it has not always been a good experience for me. I have found that I will probably be going to the dentist a lot more often now that I have found that Dr. LaManna and her staff. They made me feel comfortable and not afraid to come back.

Our daughter had a routine cleaning in mid-May, and she is quite proud of herself for quitting her thumb-sucking on the very day that you and Mary gave her your pep talks and pinky promises. She's a very decisive young person, but I know that your straightforward, caring approach to the conversation helped seal the deal on putting that habit in the past. Our son had two cavities filled on June 1st. I was impressed with the way you calmly and positively talked him through the process prior to starting the procedure. My husband and I appreciate you being realistic with him about how he is accountable for preventing future cavities. Kaitlyn's kind disposition made him feel more comfortable, and I can see that she takes pride in doing her job well, too. We do not plan to have any more cavities in our family - it's a new rule around here. :) I do anticipate, however, that we'll need plenty of dental care in the future. I felt safe and now my teeth are squeaky clean. At the reception desk there are safety shields, hand sanitizer and the hygienists wear a face shield during the cleaning. They took my temperature and I filled out a questionnaire regarding my exposure to the virus. I believe I will be a patient for life, thank you for all the steps taken to ensure our safety as well as the Falls Dental Group team. Nicely done!

Firefly Dentistry has NOT been in practice for "over thirty years". Dr. Barry Baumann, my former…read moredentist, was the owner of the practice before Firefly Dentistry bought the current office. I'm sad to say that Firefly Dentistry is not a worthy successor to Dr. Baumann's legacy. I had initial misgivings when I first visited Dr. Sandberg. However, I thought it might be due to seeing a new dentist after the fact that Dr. Baumann was my dentist for so very many years. Dr. Sandberg did a few fillings, two root canals, three crowns, and routine cleanings. I felt pain in two of the crowns with root canals and kept telling him this. He said that I couldn't feel pain, "those teeth have root canals". But the pain continued. I also began to notice he wasn't as attentive, in my opinion. He seemed disinterested. Just a gut feeling, but I've learned to pay attention to gut feelings. I also wondered at a remark of his, "I really want to get a crown on that one tooth!" Then, at my final visit, I was scheduled to see Dr. Sandberg. The hygienist came in and gave my teeth a very cursory cleaning. All the while, she was talking with a new dentist. Then, to my surprise, the new dentist did my exam. I asked why Dr. Sandberg didn't perform the exam and was told "He's busy." The hygienist and dentist talked all during the exam, speaking of "all the new tricks Dr. Sandberg's bringing in, zoom whitening" and other such things. When the COVID-19 pandemic came, I decided I wasn't going back. After I got vaccinated and the restrictions were loosening a bit, I found a dentist with better recommendations. I came to find out that the crowns with root canals that have been hurting me were infected, with bone loss. I had to have them treated by an endodontist. He doesn't *think* I'll need implants. Needless to say, I'm furious. I DO NOT recommend Firefly Dentistry. Stay away!

The filling I received fell out shortly after. Since then, I've had jaw pain, ear crackling, and tooth sensitivity I didn't have before. My bite is now misaligned and I constantly bite the inside of my cheek. When I came back in pain, I was told it was "just TMJ" without any X-rays, and was pushed to buy 150 units of Botox instead of investigating the issue. The filling fell out the next day. They've also combined my billing with another patient I'm not even married to, which is unprofessional. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience. They also will not answer my email and keep sending me a bill.

The experience felt unprofessional and dismissive from start to finish. Afterward, I consulted two other dentists who had no issue assisting me and treated me with professionalism and genuine care--something that was completely lacking at Dr. Kelly's office. Oh, and the waiting room? The furniture is far too low to the ground--completely inconsiderate for many patients. When I confronted DFD about this - they told me that Aetna was apart of our insurance. When I called my Insurance company , they said " wehave no affiliation with Aetna". In the meantime , my husband had been seen for extensive dental work and only a portion was being covered ( because we were already out of network without our knowledge). The front desk girl, McKenna continued to bill our insurance per usual and told us she was doing that. If we had payments due at the time , we paid them, Not even realizing it was because they already dropped our insurance at DFD. I think they could've handled this better and TOLD us when we were there multiple times over a 6 month period that we were no longer in network. Once we did find out , we switched dentists immediately! Guess what ? No out of pocket costs either !

It was painless, fast and conservative. It saved me hundreds, fixed the issue for under $50. His entire team is warm, professional and everyone there does quality work!
