Letter sent to Dr Goff regarding my 2nd interaction with his office.... I am having difficulty getting care at your office. I can't get an appointment for 6 business days until 7/10. I had done a long initial meeting and forms per your instructions. Now the staff say I have forms to fill out for health history I should have filled out the first visit. Now I have to do a 1.5 hour first visit for second time. Need an "exam" but she can't tell me what the name of first appointment is. The first visit I got coaching from Dr Goff on grading my pain very high for insurance to cover it. Well I told them my pain was high on phone but that doesn't help get an appointment even if it helps when you are in there with insurance. I asked for a referral to another facility as I need immediate treatment. Your staff know nothing about where to refer. If you don't want to help local competitors just refer to a facility down the hill. read more

Dr Goff recently offered to help me with my pain. I had hip surgery on both hips total replacement. The left one is great . The right hip has been horrible going on 8 years. I have had a revision then dislocated it two months later. It's been hell. Dr. Goff has kept my back aligned and helped me with the pain I was about to give up it has been so long without relief . Dr. Goff changed my life! I've lived severely misaligned since I was 27 years old I'm now 33 and I suffered for years thinking it was sciatic nerve pain, it would flare up every couple months and inevitably something would happen and I would be disabled for weeks. ER would refer me back to PCP and PCP would order hundreds of dollars worth of tests ultimately suggesting surgery time after time. The pain through my last pregnancy was so bad I couldn't bear the thought of a third just thinking of the back pain. I am a new patient I have only had 2 visits so far scheduled here for the next month on my journey to recovery after a car accident a week ago. I just wanted to say that the overall feel for this place is excellent. Kitty up front is so helpful and works hard to keep everything in order with your appointment. Both her, and the Doctor made me feel comfortable and safe after this stressful time in my life. Very professional and a calm way of speaking and interacting while making me feel at ease and helping raise my spirits doing so. I'm honestly so surprised the extra care and concern shown and taking time to cover everything I needed with extra referrals for other things related to the accident. I started going to Dr. Goff about 3 maybe 4 months ago for back, neck, wrist pain from being pregnant. Now I am feeling amazing and I have very little back pain my neck is 100% and my wrist is almost back to new! He was so helpful explaining everything step by step to make sure I am comfortable. His staff is amazing they have such great customer service skills. They ask me how I am doing with my pregnancy and Kitty remembers stuff I tell her that I forget we talked about! If your pregnant and having any kind of pain I suggest going to Family Chiropractic for help he has special tables for pregnant women and I have been so comfortable the whole time I am laying on my tummy! I went to this office for the very first time today. First- paperwork. Omg. Grab it beforehand and do it at home. It's very lengthy, but thorough and necessary- it'll take you roughly 30 mins to complete! Second- the office is so clean! And homey! The decor is fun too. And it's very spacious! Next- the staff is amazing! They were very friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. The visit- the consultation was quick and thorough. I didn't know what quite to expect but I felt like the dr. Genuinely cares about me as a patient during my visit. Dr. Goff explains what he's doing and why and asks often if you have any questions for him. Great bedside manner as well. The husband and wife were so so nice, but the care I got and for the price was not worth it. I had a pinched nerve, so the doctor told me to ice it down and do some exersizes. I could of gotton that info from web MD for free. But the Doctors policy is that you have to make at least 5-6 appointments at 50-60 dollars a appointment. And at every appointment all the doctor did was strech the hurt area and use a tool on my back and glutes, which took all of 5 min. And it took about a month for the pain to go away and came back a few weeks later. I have been to other doctors for the same thing and have left those offices that very day without pain. read more

I can highly reccomend Dr Goth of Family Chiropractic in Yucca Valley. I have been in pain for six years due to Fibromyalgia, and Dr Goth's treatments have done more to ease the pain than the meds prescribed by my family doctor. On my fourth and what will be my last visit with him I must have caught him on a "bad morning." He was short, rude and defensive when I simply asked about a marking on a form which I previously had not seen. When I asked about the the Medicare Form, (CMS-R-131) he got real short and checked off the box for OPTION 2. I was shocked, signed the form and paid him off. The form clearly states that the provider cannot choose a box for the customer. This was clearly against Medicare policy if not more serious. read more

I visited this establishment for something specific. Another chiropractor in town had injured the right lower side of my back with his joint popping tactics. And then when I tried to call him to fix it, he wouldn't take my calls. I think it as an insurance thing. I was on the dastardly Blue Shield then. But you know, him not taking my calls was a blessing in disguise. I called Family Chiropractic and saw Dr. Goff for the first time. I also had severe post nasal drip. Dr. Goff informed me that he could target my back and that with some effective treatments. It took a number of months but I finally couldn't take it anymore and made an appointment. It was the beginning of January this year, and a week and a half of daily treatments. And believe me, I grew weary of them. But after the first treatment I started noticing the difference. After the final treatment, the pain in my back was hardly there. It's been nearly three months since my treatments. I have horrible allergies and now that it's spring, my head is like a vice several times a day. However the other day, I realized that I'm no longer spitting into twenty or more tissues a day because of my post nasal drip. I'm not even spitting into one tissue a day! I'm blowing my nose like all normal people with allergies! And I've had severe post nasal drip for nearly fifteen years, after a few surgeries. Would I recommend Dr. Goff? ABSOLUTELY! And I didn't have to come out of pocket because he takes VA insurance as well. Yep, I finally ditched Blue Shield for VA insurance. Have a nagging postnasal drip that you can't get rid of? WARNING!!!! this place is largely to avoid ! This business starts with u filling up more than 14 questionnaire (more than 100 questions ) and you will not be seen unless you will do it ! they are not concerned if you are in pain or it is not their primary concern in screening you ( and i was in lots of pain which i pointed it out to the receptionist ) but that you fill up all those forms that are then redirected to marketing analysts (not for free), So after almost an hour of filling up those forms where not only my shoulder doubled in pain but also I was added an headache for straining my eyes in filling up those forms.i was seated in another room where the doctor which he didn't even looked or greeted me or asked me how i was feeling, pointed out that in the questionnaire i marked my pain as to be 10(maximum) which it meant that I had to leave and go to the emergency room!!!!! not only he didn't enquire about my problem or my pain or if i needed any assistance at all !!! so after telling him that my problem was caused by poor sleeping accommodations, I stood up and left his presence and his poor professional behavior that i felt couldn't even solve my pain condition. read more
