Amazing experience. This surgeon is a rock star! I had total knee replacement surgery. He walked me through every step, so that I went in comfortable with what the game plan was/is. This is the worst dr I have ever had in my life. I broke my leg 2022 he did not line up the bone in my leg. (Femur) dr seip did put the plate in my leg straight which is now rubbing against the bone. Haven't been able to walk on my own since. read more

Terrible Dr. He lacks expertise in so many areas. So arrogant,. Your office is a disaster, you left me hanging in severe pain for over a month. You were very wrong on your DX of my hip. I got it fixed in LA. I wouldn't let this so called Dr touch my dog. Take a lesson form a real Dr who has compassion Like Dr Klapper in LA. I would give you -100 stars if possible. This office is absolutely horrible. I've worked in the medical field 25 years and have never seen anything like it. So I took my mom there last week. She needs surgery on her arm. They claim to have set up a bunch of appointments in a satellite office and we went to the appointment and was never scheduled. Number two, they said that they sent in her pain med to the pharmacy and that never happened either. Number three they've had five days to send her pre-ops over to the hospital. We get up here and they are not here. I have called five times and have spent a total of one and a half hours on the phone with them and still they don't have one competent person in that office of 50 people that can pull a chart and fax some orders over. The doctor is an arrogant POS. If there were anywhere else to go out here that accepts her insurance we would. BEWARE. Unless you want to spend a couple weeks trying to to get your appointments straight and dealing with rude staff then by all means book an appointment. Don't say I didn't warn you all. read more

Had a knee replacement. I am not the best patient, but the replacement "clicks" and I was told to just live with it. The knee still hurts almost as badly as before. Another surgeon whom I consulted about the other knee "thought" that he could fix the botched one, but I'm not sure I'm willing to risk still more pain. Today is the four year anniversary of my surgery and I hurt today pretty much as I hurt after the wound healed. Eight months ago I had a COMPETENT surgeon do my other knee and hurt there only if I bang it on something by mistake. By comparison I now see just how wretched Seip (I refuse to call him "doctor") is. Please avoid him if you need knee surgery. read more

Dr. Seip and his whole staff is amazing in the ortho part. My son had his thumb clicking in and out, made me feel so much better that it was nothing serious and he'd out grow it. He's was asking my son questions and made him feel safe with him. Erica is also amazing. The urgent care staff and Megan are also amazing! Megan is so wonderful. She truly will do whatever to help her patients. Staff made sure you were in and out quickly with getting what you need. Never have to wait long. Megan was in the room quickly once getting back and didn't make you wait long for what you need. I recommend them to anyone. You won't be disappointed. read more

Wow, I had a totally different experience than the other patient here. The staff is great. I love them. Everyone from the x-ray technician to the front desk to Dr. Heather. I really can't think of a place where I would rather be to recover and heal from a bone injury. They confirm appointments, are easy to schedule with, sweethearts to the core and thorough/professional/competent. Dr. Seip is a great surgeon. I feel 100% confident with Heather on all my appointments. And, I have never had one bad experience with the staff- and I have been there A LOT over the last couple months. read more

My son broke his wrist 2 weeks ago in a skateboarding accident. Dr. Seip and his staff were/are amazing and professional. I would not trust my sons care to anyone else. Office: The office waiting room and back rooms were clean and inviting. Office staff: I called this office the day of my sons accident. They got him in immediately. When I arrived at the office they were pleasant and professional. The wait time was about average for a busy doctors office and they cared about my sons comfort the entire time. Wonderful people, warm, friendly, efficient. Doctor Seip: The doctor was friendly, and spoke directly to my 15 year old son. He was thorough and answered all of our questions. I also liked the way the doctor evaluated my sons pain levels and did not just push meds automatically. Brilliant surgeon! read more

Didn't get to see the Doctor. The receptionist was rude as hell. They wouldn't take him because he is my grandson. He has a broken bone in his hand they wont see him. Every other Doctor has taken care of him. He is 17 years old. read more

This doctor and the office are scamming the MediCal and the insurance companies. Even though I was referred to by another doctor and MediCal approved me seeing a orthopedic doctor, they want me to first see their own GP and only after that to see the orthopedic doctor. They are doing so only because this way they can double bill for the same referral. Last time I have seen the GP they want me to see this time, the office billed my insurance company over $400 for 10min conversation with a doctor, no tests, nothing. My insurance investigated that situation and disallowed most of the charge, but only after I had to call and waste my time explaining what happened. This entire office is out to scam the system and all of the front desk people are awful. read more

I have broken my foot and have had many appts in this office and the staff has been very kind every time. I went in early for a cat scan and they took me right in very fast and efficient. I took my husband to Dr Seip when he broke his leg 3 months ago. The Dr said he might need surgery because something was hanging inside his leg. He said he needed a CT scan. Three months later and we have still not gotten the scan. They have my husband's leave of absence paperwork and kept telling us they would fill it out. We have called and went by the office numerous times but still have no paperwork or even any treatment for his leg which is still just as swollen and painful as the day he broke it. This man needs to be put out of business. read more

Actually I want to write the review long time ago since the first day of my visit. Back them I just want to mention that dr. Seip was nice but the from desk or nurse (whatever u call) not too helpful. Good thing I did not write my review yet so now I can explain more. Hopefully helpful to future patients. I have radial head fracture on my right arm. ER refers me to this surgeon office. As a new patient, they want me to fill 8 pages form. I mention that still hard for me to write and asking if they can help me. Erika's responds "sorry we are busy, nobody can help u" so I tried my best to fill the form and after about an hour I finally finished. First appt. May 20th, I was seen by dr. Rachel? the assistant. She said she CAN'T read the X-ray and asked me to do CT. Scan and I did. Second appt. May 27th, I finally seen by dr. Seip but before, Erika (the front desk/nurse) told me to do X-ray. I mention to her about CT. Scan but I thought that's the rule and I did X-ray anyways. While dr. Seip came to my room and I mention about the X-ray, he told me CT. Scan more clear than X-ray. We discuss what's going on. I remember dr. Seip mention surgery not necessary and he sent me to Physical Therapy and I did. Third appt. June 1st I met dr. Seip and as usual before, (again) Erika wanted me to do X-ray. Same thing dr. Seip didn't see the X-ray result instead telling me about doing surgery. Long talk, finally I decided to continues with physical therapy and yes I mention to dr. Seip if PT doesn't help I might agree with surgery. Thank God, PT and me doing exercises at home REALLY help to get heal day by day. So, I decided not to go back to dr. Seip for surgery. After about 6 weeks, I went to new surgeon and VERY happy with their services. From front desk, the assistants and dr. Desai. The X-ray showing the bone is growing. And YES, my arm working well now! Oh, about paperwork regardless my absences from work dr. Seip office (by Erika) charge me $10 per page and I have to pay up front but it will not be done in two days. And I have REALLY hard time and can't file EDD due my time being out of work and treated with this place. Oh well... I wish I can post this without putting * read more

Doctor Seip and his staff are beyond AMAZING!!!! Dr.Seip has seen my 14 year old son a few times. He has fractured his wrist, broken his pinky and arm. Dr. Seip has a way to calm him down like no other by sharing stories of his family and his own children as well. He really goes out of his way to care for each patients! Even when there office is super busy, Erica always finds a way to fit us in. She is always kind, and professional each time we see her. Forgot the name of his x-ray tech, but he is wonderful as well. Dr. Seip is great. Since he has hired Christina, it's an awful experience! She had ruined going in and getting fixed up and feeling better. Instead she doesn't have your appointment on the schedule that you made three months ago. Is so unorganized, that she can't find your file that is in the stack of files for the days patients. Hangs up on you when you call, the when you call back you get put on hold for over twelve minutes until YOU hang up to call back. When there is a full office she gets so flustered. She can't hang. She's the wrong person to be in charge of running an office. It's a shame that this one person is going to mess up Dr. Seips office, business and reputation, but that's what's happening. read more

It relieves my confusion to see others report a similar experience (I also showed up for an appointment was told it was changed to another day with no apology). Dr. Seip is very nice (I had a good experience with him and his staff many years ago) but the office staff now is shockingly unprofessional. How is that business staying afloat? I had an appointment 2 months ago and Dr. Seip said a knee brace might be helpful but that there were a few different kinds and the insurance might be tricky. He had me speak with Erika who said she would check into it and get back to me in 2-3 weeks. That was 2 months ago, I have called the office multiple times and no one returns my call. I am so frustrated. It doesn't matter if the visit with Dr. Seip goes well since the follow through is the responsibility of the office staff. read more

Actually this review is not about the doctor's skill but his office staff. After doctor Seip recommended that my husband have hand surgery we called back to the office to make the surgery appointment. This was during March 2016. There was never anyone available to talk to me. I left messages four days in a row for the scheduler and doctor Seip's assistant. Consequently, Dr. Seip will not be doing surgery on my husband's hand. Most likely that is a good thing. read more

My 6 year old was complaining that her arm hurt after a hard fall. I called Dr. Seips office and they got me in within 4 hours. The front office administrator was very friendly and put me at ease as soon as I got there. She was very professional and got us immediately into the xray room. Dr. Seip examined my daughter and took a lot of time and care with her. He made my daughter feel very comfortable during a very unnerving time. After determining that her elbow was broken, Dr. Seip took time to review the x-rays with me and educate me on what he saw and where the break was. He personally put the cast on and saw us to the end of the appointment. We have since had two follow-up appointments and cast removal. Each appointment was as professional as the first. I would not hesitate to call Dr. Seip or refer his office in the future. Great experience all around. And my daughters arm healed completely with no problems at all!
