Dina has been fundamental to my processing of a recent divorce and putting the pieces back together. My boyfriend and I were long distance for seven years, and needed a professional to help us decide who was going to move. To make the situation more challenging, we were also dealing with a sick family member, selling/renting homes, giving up hobbies, and two people who genuinely loved their jobs in their prospective cities. It had been a long ongoing battle! After calling several therapists to get quotes and initial feedback, I was set on Dina. She spoke with me on the phone instead of emailing, was reasonable in her prices, offered to work with us via Skype (since my boyfriend traveled internationally often), and had similar life experiences. Her flexibility and quick response time had me sold. I expected to learn a lot about my boyfriend, but in reality, I learned more about myself. My partner really liked her style and felt that she was very fair (which is vital since men aren't usually stoked about therapy sessions). Topics that we've argued about for years were able to be resolved, and we now have a game plan and better communication methods for our future. Although it was sometimes emotional, the time and money was completely worth it, and I would recommend her to any couple or family who wants to resolve their issues. I don't know where to begin. She changed the fundamentals to my relationship. My boyfriend and I came to her thinking this was the end for us. We were going to try one last time with the help of a counselor. She heard both of sides and helped us understand and heal our issues. Dina has breathed new life into our family relationships. We were struggling with issues that dated WAY back and holding onto difficult times and tragedies. When our Mom died we agreed that we would honestly try to find a third party "outsider" who could help us maneuver the memories of the past and find peace and contentment in the present. With a stroke of luck and blessings from above I happened upon Dina by plugging in "Best Counselor" on Yelp. I called the phone number on her page and was STUNNED when she herself answered. I told her I couldn't believe I was speaking with her without having to go thru a gatekeeper. She responded, "I take all my own calls. I want to talk to people directly." I knew she was different and boy was I impressed. I sat in my car in a parking lot near my office and talked to her over an hour about what was going on and what we needed.
