I have been…read morestruggling with attacks of nausea and vomiting that had increased in frequency to weekly attacks. We made a plan to start with a HIDA scan and follow up with a colonoscopy and endoscopy if the scan showed nothing. When I hadn't heard anything from scheduling in a couple of weeks I called the hospital and they said the test order had not been sent over from DHI. The hospital was kind enough to put me on hold, call DHI and get the referral and scheduled me for the HIDA on Sept. 27. I don't know why the referral was never sent to the hospital. A week after the HIDA scan I received a call from DHI saying I needed an MRCP scan and they would get the referral to Sparrow Hospital. That was on Oct. 3. I waited for over a week and heard nothing so I called the hospital again and they said they didn't have the referral. I called DHI and after 40 minutes on hold they said they had sent the referral to Sparrow. After some confusing phone calls, they sent me a message through the Pinnacle portal, "It appear our radiology department is waiting on an authorization approval for the MRIMRCP before they can send your order to Sparrow." I wasted hours on hold and bouncing between Sparrow and DHI over this misinformation and miscommunication. I asked if we could continue the plan for the colonoscopy and endoscopy if insurance wouldn't approve the MRCP. They said they would ask Callie Hart. I responded to the portal message with the same request and got no response. I sent another portal message that my symptoms were worsening and got no response. What is the point of a patient portal if no one answers your messages? Clearly there is a serious problem with communication at this office. I will revise this review if someone will contact me with accurate information about my referral and treatment plan. I will seek another provider if this doesn't happen. ******** First thing the next day I received a call from DHI and was assured they had definitely faxed the MRCP request over to Sparrow that very day - that was last Tuesday, Oct. 15. I called Sparrow a week later on Oct. 21 since I hadn't received a call and Sparrow confirmed that no request had come from DHI for me last week on Tuesday Oct. 15 and they checked Wednesday Oct 16 and no request had come. Once again I was mislead and DHI did not do what they promised. I have asked my doctor for a referral to UM.

I won't say my Doctor's name, but they were openly and respectfully curious as to how they might be of service to a Transgender Person, when so often the past told a different story. :( My Doctor addressed my every concern and meeting with them was very pleasant. The fish tank next to the check-out desk has an _Actual_Literal_Sea_Urchin_! They are very black, except for their orange rude part, and about nine inches across. The Staff Person at the check-out desk was friendly and enthusiastic! They walked me through every step of the check-out process with a smile! The Medical Assistant thanked me for coming in today! I am totally 100% assured that they will follow up with me at every opportunity and that our relationship will continue to be successful and pleasant.

She never did, went there the next day in person and spoke to a nurse practitioner (Beth)who changed the prescription. Her attitude was horrible, told me I was rude for asking to speak with someone in person. She said that my situation was not an urgency, and that it was rude to show up in person to ask for the correction to be made. Then she went on to claim that the reason behind their ineptness was lack of employees. Let me be frank, she is an awful person with a passive aggressive attitude who should not be allowed to speak with patients. Please avoid this place

We had the same experience as others that wrote reviews. The office staff is horribly rude I was told I was gonna see the actual doctor and then when I asked about it the girl that did my blood pressure and vitals was very snotty and explain to me that the PA is just as qualified. Which most are I will agree with that but when you're told as a new patient you are going to see the doctor and in they switch it and then get nasty when you ask about it not very good 1st impression. I went in for some chest discomfort and may sent me to a lab and they did $2000 worth of lab work which was totally unnecessary when asked other physicians of the same situation. Then never sent us a bill Then was nasty to my wife when she went there for her 1st time. My wife broke her tailbone and had an X-ray from urgent care they did not even show her the X-ray and just said Yup it's fractured. She did not feel comfortable with the diagnosis she went to a different doctor they not only shoulder the X-ray but made an appointment for an orthopedic surgeon because it needed to be seen. My wife went back for a second appointment where they were supposed to fax over her disability form to her employer 20 days later they did finally did send a fax with the nothing that was requested that they needed. The office manager is by far the rudest her name is Linda good luck with dealing with her, she told my wife that they can't just help her out and that they get at it at their own time. We have recorded calls with the office if anybody wants to hear I'm I'll send them to you of how rude they are when it comes to patients. They charge more than any other doctors office we've ever been to it's actually cheaper to go to urgent care than it is to see them. We are so upset that at office would not help their patients. Read the rest the reviews of this place before you make a decision to deal with this office. We will be filing a complaint with the state of Michigan medical board, department of human affairs, Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General. People need to know about this place . So we got a letter the next day stating that they were no longer going to provide medical care for our family. I guess you can't call and ask questions.

First, the staff is pleasant. They greet you when you walk in and the place looks like home rather than a cold sterile Doctors Office. I was greeted twice and taken into a room right on time. I think they are careful not to overscheduled people which I really appreciate. The MA was kind and cheerful and very personable. She took my vitals and did the preliminary questions. Next came the PA, who sat and listened to my story, asked questions and took her time. That was extraordinary. She was thorough and easy to talk to. I've been back several times and each has been a great experience. Staff always is at the ready and completely professional to deal with.
