Do I really want to acknowledge how often I frequent The All a Dollar?…read more The truth is I'm a single mom that loves cheap stuff. In fact, I need cheap stuff, so I find myself here quite a bit. And I have to give this place a ringing endorsement. First of all, some of the stuff at any dollar store can be found cheaper elsewhere, like WalMart. But if you know what you're looking for, there's a lot you can purchase here that you cannot get for less than a dollar anywhere else. I buy most of my cleaning supplies at All a Dollar. The carpet/upholstery cleaner, their brand of pine cleaner, multipurpose cleaners, etc. work just as well as anything I've purchased for a lot more money at other retail chains. This is also the perfect place to purchase stuff for craft projects. More than once I've gotten fake flowers to make hair accessories for my daughter. We've also purchase birthday party invitations, thank-you cards and gift bags here regularly. They also have a good selection of party supplies, including party favors. While not everything here is fabulous--or even close to fabulous, many of their products are worth the inexpensive price tag. So if you're looking for a good deal on certain items, All a Dollar is a good place to start.
