There's a fitting room to make sure the clothing you've picked out fits you (and I suggest using it because many of the clothing items are tagged with the wrong size). I like the dollar days on Wednesday. I get there right when they open and yes, it is total chaos and everyone is throwing things in there, but that's how you get the good deal. Everyone has always been very polite. I've gotten some really good deals. I resell on eBay. It's a fun place to drop 80 bucks and get 80 items! I recommend coming here. Cydnee is constantly swearing at the people running the registers at the front. Kalvin makes some pretty suggestive comments from his office that can be heard through most of the store. And the kitchen is such a mess! After trying to order food, their sanitation system seems very lacking, and they are so slow about it. I was thoroughly disgusted, I will never eat their food again. The cherry on top is that we have made complaints before about the managers, and nothing has happened. They are still vulgar to employees and customers alike. Terrible place of business.

But they do have produce and meat we can't seem to find elsewhere in the area. Specifically, for meat, beef heart and a couple of seafood items. For produce, a really great pepper selection (large poblanos, nice serranos) and most definitely fresh okra. We tend to want to buy organic, and Winco doesn't come close, so we are aware that a lot of this stuff is "dirty" - but once in a while when you want to make a particular dish, Winco fulfills the bill.
