I stumbled upon some really cool drinking glasses from Bulgaria! They were just fabulous! Quality glass with an upscale feel for just $1. I would have paid top dollar for the same glasses at Crate and Barrel. Let me tell you, they didn't look anything like a jelly jar! That was my big discovery! Yea! Yea! Everything in this store is neat and clean and organized. Some people will complain just for the sake of complaining. Don't kick a gift horse in the mouth. All you Northwest Indiana folks have a good thing going at your Dollar Tree, appreciate this store!

JCPenney or "Penney's" as I recall from my childhood still has a good selection of merchandise in every category or department. They seem to have a clearance section in every department which has deals up to 70% off. It is nice to go to brick and mortar stores to actually see the merchandise and put your hands on it. Actually walking around and shopping seems to be more rewarding than sitting on your couch or in front of your computer and shopping online.

The check out can get long sometimes & move slowly, but the cashiers are really nice & helpful. Considering the prices & the friendly staff it's worth the wait. Maybe that's why I felt like a mouse in a maze on a busy Saturday there. Women going in all directions trying to avoid one another and waiting to shop in the same areas. Remember Pac-Man? As soon as I would get settled in to check out a possible purchase someone would come up behind me (like the Pac-Man ghosts). It was horrible. Plus buying a unit with such little square footage and having so much stock produces the problem of where it all must go.....apparently UP!!!! Had I been 8' tall it would have made shopping here much easier. Ask an employee....hmmmm! Nah! These employees were so unprofessional. Standing around laughing and flirting. They were talking about how drunk they planned on getting at some social event. A public workplace is not the time or place for that. A lesson in how to present ourselves when on the floor would be wise. I left and went home to order everything I needed (which was a lot-their loss) online.

Yeah yeah, it's not ideal for your own children, or anyone expecting anything incredible, but the sheer amount of toys you can buy for $15 or $20 will blow any kid under 10 right out of their seat. I like to try things on before I buy them because I really don't like to have to return things, but everytime Ive wanted to try something on and one of them are there it's been horrible. Everytime I just say forget it and turn around. They talk to you like you are a child and that you are inconveniencing them. When I get in the room i'm not even excited about the things i've chose because of the encounter. Unfortunately this has happened to other people I have been with as well. It makes me not want to get anything. Its been such an uncomfortable experience everytime ive seen them.
