I'm guessing they buy Amazon pallets or excess store inventory because once something sells out, you might never see it in stock again. I went in looking for an instant pot as I had seen them posted on their FB page. The people in the store sometimes will give you a discount on the advertised price and sometimes will negotiate. They also have a location on W 38th and one on the East side but I haven't been to the Eastside location. I love their deals and while you can return defective products, you'll get in store credit and not a cash refund so that's something to keep in mind.

Now... I took 8 years of Spanish but my brain went haywire and I couldn't say a single word of Spanish. That was a problem as everyone spoke Spanish. And not everyone spoke English. That's not a problem, of course. I should have been more prepared but my big dumb dumb brain failed me. There are at least two places to order ice cream inside. We got ice cream from the stand right by the entrance. That was the wrong one as I had wanted to try the stand with the unique flavors like corn and horchata. The one we went to had like a dozen basic flavors and milkshakes. Do a little bit of wandering inside if you want to find the stand with the unique flavors. There are dozens of other stalls inside, selling all sorts of stuff from cheap garbage to even dishwashers and hot tubs! We didn't see what the food trucks outside had. My bf got 2 scoops of ice cream ($5.50) and I panicked ordered a massive size of an oreo milkshake ($8.75 and 80000 calories). It was okay. Not as good as a DQ Blizzard which is top tier in the oreo mix em up game. Prices are barely on anything so make sure to brush up on your basic Spanish. As for the bathroom, it was messy, busy, and well worn. Also, parking was near impossible and potholes are abundant. Yikes. I am glad we tried this interesting experience, but I don't think I will ever go back.

This location also has a bakery that serves fresh Indian pastries. There was a line of patrons at the bakery to grab lunch items. Patel has the largest and best selection of spices in the area. The spices are reasonably priced. The store is easy in and out and there is plenty of parking. Checkout was a tad slow because they only had one clerk at the registers.

When I was on the Exotic Feline Rescue Center Auction Committee, I purchased many glass candle holders here and small exotic toy cats to place on our tables. Now, the toys are scattered all over the isles and just a hot mess. I looked for the candle holders but only found one. Several standard items I kind of count on finding here were missing, too. The employees were trying to stock and clean up the isles. It's still a good place to shop for toys or candies to place in a pinata or buy inexpensive items for gift bags. I purchased a couple of cheap buckets and sponges for some cleaning next week. You get the idea. I have to say I've watched kids frantically pick and toss toys aside after looking at them. The worst part was that the parent watched and never said a word. It is hard for employees to keep it stocked and organized. I will continue to shop Dollar Tree when I need inexpensive items for a project, but I'll try to find a store not so in disarray.

Every isle was filled with several boxes of inventory piled high, shelves that were in complete disarray and items placed haphazardly throughout the store. I was fighting the urge to start gathering all of the empty boxes and cleaning house. On top of the complete mess found in every nook and cranny, they had more than 15-20 people in line for each of their two cash registers on a Sunday.
