But they do have produce and meat we can't seem to find elsewhere in the area. Specifically, for meat, beef heart and a couple of seafood items. For produce, a really great pepper selection (large poblanos, nice serranos) and most definitely fresh okra. We tend to want to buy organic, and Winco doesn't come close, so we are aware that a lot of this stuff is "dirty" - but once in a while when you want to make a particular dish, Winco fulfills the bill.

Produce is amazing, very high quality, the organic sweet potatoes a few weeks back were the best, my kids were even requesting &eating them as snacks :-) Lots of organics, lots of high quality, good looking produce!! Always good prices!! Although many times small quantities(usually there is more in back, if you need it because you have a large family like me, just ask :-)) While not of interest to me and my family, they have a wide variety of vegan/plant based items. Everything from meat & dairy substitutes to vegan frozen pizza &a wide variety of snacks!! My younger kids(9,10,& 12)love coming in with me to see what they can find, its always like a treasure hunt for them since stock changes often(I love this too)!! They love all the unique products, it has even encouraged my picky, autistic daughter to try more things & that is a huge plus for this mama!! I love the bargains, such amazing prices, knowing I can still get a full cart of groceries for ~$100...where else is that possible??? Yes, sometimes dates are a bit close, but my kids eat so much that's never a problem!! Heck, some of the items are in the "never go bad" category & it really doesn't matter(do cans of tomatoes ever really expire? Coffee?) You will also often get bounce back coupons on your receipt, an extra $3-5 off your next purchase, it's not alot, but everything helps in today's economy-AND its on top of their already low prices!! We have met the owners, tonight Dave(one half of the husband/wife owner team)bagged my groceries and gave my kiddos candy bars, they were so excited!! He even remembered that I had 2 more(one was at gymnastics, one stayed in the car)&told them to pick for their siblings too. You just cannot ask for more!!! A few weeks ago we met Chrystal(her photo at the entrance does not do her justice!!)& I believe one, maybe 2 of their children working in the produce dept. As a mom, I appreciate the lessons they're instilling :-) It is definitely a family affair, which in turn creates an amazing family atmosphere!!! We have lived in 11 states over the last 23yrs, I can honestly say this is probably my favorite store ever, definitely top 3 for sure(up there with HEB of TX & Woodman's of WI). I enjoy the variety, HEB/Woodmans were huge warehouse like stores that always had everything, this is a small store but with constantly rotating stock that gives it the variety of a much larger store :-) Not sure if this is the store or Idaho Falls, but about a month ago I left my wallet at the store, likely in a cart(I think I left it in the cart, hubs loaded groceries in the car & didnt realize I hadn't taken it with me-oops), someone turned it in. Same condition I left it, nothing missing-not even the cash or "special coins" I was holding for the kids. Another amazing testament to the store & its customers :-)

Do not go to this place for tires! We caught sidewall damage on OME Yokohama tire that Walmart…read morehappened to have in stock. I already had the wheel off as we needed the spare. Made an 8 AM appointment to swap the tire at what was a pretty reasonable price. My mistake! Over 2 1/2 hours later I was finally able to get out of there with the wheel, which I put back on the vehicle myself while they struggled to figure out the paperwork. There are plenty of other tire shops that for a little more money won't waste your time.

Poor management or just bad training?…read more The cashiers have minimal training and apparently are unable to identify basic fruits (grapes) and vegetables (cucumbers) correctly, resulting in overcharges on multiple visits. I hope that this is just poor management and not intentional deceptive trade practices. Make sure you check your receipt before you leave to avoid being overcharged and having to make a return trip for a refund. It was a good store but I don't think I can give them another try, they lost a customer.

It's also appreciated that they have other things hard to find elsewhere, like Indian food in a pouch - which we use as a foundation to produce a real meal instead of what is just in the pouch. So, the update? Nothing has really changed in the three years we've shopped there, but worth saying so, as a three year old review is often ignored as too old to consider.

Lots of options for cold beverages, including energy drinks. Lego's we're on sale 20% off. That is a great price! Games were buy one get one. Normally that sale is only at Thanksgiving. Carhart was 20% off as well. What did I learn today? It was super easy to purchase here given the great selection.

I encountered an extremely rude, extremely unhelpful pharmacy technician there on 22 August 2026. When asked for his name, he grinned and said "Hugo." I don't know whether that is his real name, but it is the name he gave me. I will spare the unpleasant detail, but the encounter was unpleasant enough -- apparently intentionally, not just chance error -- that my wife and I have already canceled all of our current prescriptions and refills at this Pharmacy. Life is unpleasant enough, without pharmacy techs on power trips wasting an additional hour of my life for no apparent reason. Indeed, I think this might be the first time in my life that I may have been racially profiled by a customer service worker. I am leaving this rating here primarily because I think it likely that "Hugo" has provided similar customer service to other customers in the past, and probably in the future. Customer, BEWARE! And you don't have to accept such rude, inconsiderate service! Document and Report! And in truth, this is the second significant issue I've had with this Fred Meyer Pharmacy over the last several years. At the same time, I've had ZERO other problems like this with any other pharmacies in my entire life!! What is going on at this FM Pharmacy causing techs to think they can be this rude and inconsiderate??
