I realize that I can never go into a store and purchase a bra in the ~30 seconds it takes most women to pick out a new "bra". I am actually unable to wear a traditional "bra" after my mastectomies & reconstructive surgeries. I have found a product that is best for me called "Luisa Luisa Tank top or T-100 with mastectomy prosthetic pockets". Typically Insurance can take much time and causes me frustration; again, that this process sometimes takes weeks/months vs the 30sec of choosing a brassiere normally takes. Nava, my contact the Office Coordinator at "A Fitting Experience" took everything out of my hands and in less than 24 hours all the paperwork (my part took 5 mins & was a breeze) from myself, orders from my oncologist's office was in her hands and insurance was approved and product shipped to my home in just a few days which again beats weeks or months I've had to endure at times in past 12 years since my original diagnosis and surgeries. I only wish I had found her and this company sooner. Nava's professionalism and sensitivity with issues surrounding this process were instantly apparent & beneficial to all involved in this process. Karina had said that the cost was $260. She stated my insurance, Humana, had a 50% copay since it was considered an "upgraded" product. I paid $130. Later, I find Humana was billed $375. Humana paid $277.06. I found the same product on healthproductsforyou.com for $209.99. I requested a refund since Humana paid more than I was told the product cost. I've been told by Cathy that doesn't matter. I had agreed to pay $130 because it was an "upgraded" product. I don't feel receiving $407.06 for a needed prosthetic is an ethical business practice. I wear these because I have no breast tissue. I just want to look normal under clothing. I'm almost 79 and on a limited income. I'm sorry to see greedy companies selling these products.

Do NOT use the Palm Springs, FL Hanger Clinic. There are many other Hanger Clinic locations that…read moreare a lot more ethical than this one in Palm Springs, Florida. First, they charged me $25 to replace a strap on my AFO, as the velcro was no longer sticking - a 60 second task, and even though I was ordering my new AFO through them. I didn't argue, and paid their requested fee. NOTE: Both the Hanger Clinics in NYC AND in Gainesville replaced the strap for me at NO CHARGE throughout the years. That should have been my first clue not to use this location for my replacement AFO. Fast forward, my new plastic AFO was ready for pick up. They used cloth straps, a much less durable strap than the leather I had on my original AFO - perhaps so they can keep collecting their $25 fees every time these straps go bad. They received $1,500 from my insurance company - after lying about the type of AFO and all the additions - they claim to have included with the brace, but didn't. And in spite of the fact that they received $1,500 from my insurance company, they are charging me an ADDITIONAL $170!!! This is after 1) I was told the AFO was covered by my insurance and 2) I spoke with someone in the office a couple of months ago when I received the first bill, who assured me that the additional charge was an error and that it was going to be taken care of. Please note the location of positive reviews aren't for the Palm Springs, FL location - all Hanger Clinic locations are not created equal.

I do not question their surgical skills but I would never go that far with such a non-caring group of practitioners. The staff has always been polite, professional, and courteous to me. That includes the doctor, doctor's assistants, support staff, physical therapists and physical therapy staff. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone who is interested. In reference to the comment made by another reviewer as to the clientele being Worker's Comp. and lawsuit patients, I am neither, just a regular person with an injury requiring treatment.
