I was never told or made aware of the new location, I just called to let them know why I'm not at my appointment but no answer and I'm still waiting on a call back.. I haven't even been called from their end to check where I am for my appointment. Also, they rarely pick up the phone and if they do, they put you on hold right away & I've stayed holding for over 10min with them before, it's just not worth it, I feel like they made my pain on my neck worse with the way they handled this. I was a self pay besides no discussions of fee breakdown they charged for a shot for one, Dr James Provo itemized a breakdown of $1,642.00 for his visit, two charges for one that they charged, one for $452.00 and one for $450.00 for his shot, radiologic exam which never happened for $260.00, this is really a joke...US guidance needle placement that never happened for $447.00 and $120.00 for the triamicnolone acetonide (the solution) for $120.00. Then he charges another $668.00 for an evaluation, a two charges without dates of service for group physical therapy sessions, one for $717.00 and another charge without dates of service for $956.00 plus charging a computerized general print out of exercises that could help for a few sessions at $267.00. I have already called my lawyer about this fraudulent billing coming out of their Coral Springs Office at 6280 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, FL 33017-3173. This is a walk-in orthopedic office which was perfect for me since I didn't want to wait till next week to find out what was wrong with my foot. This office is across from Broward General Hospital. I was seen by Dr. Jeffrey Alent who was very nice. Before being seen by the doctor X-rays were given and then the consult started. I was shown what the problem was and a plan of action. I am glad I did not break any bones in my foot. The recommendations were to take it easy, a no-impact exercise for a while, more stretching, and more supportive shoes as well as Voltaren cream for arthritis on my ankle from a broken ankle in the past. I did pass on the physical therapy since I rather work on the foot myself. Exercises were given to improve the range of movement. Hopefully, I will recover soon.
