Amanda, the technician who did my original screening and fitting was so thorough and helpful and teaching what was going on and what changes would occur in the future. I felt excited to address the issue early rather than wait. I felt no pressure whatsoever from Amanda. When I had a few minor issues with getting things adjusted at first, I realized I chose the right people to work with. They didn't just say hear you go and then vaporize. They worked hard with a product they believe in. I generally like to work with professionals that I have been personally referred to. Amanda made me feel like I discovered a secret on my own. I was ushered into an office with a Sharkey professional and shown some really good hearing aids. However, the price is very high. Subsequently, I complained about the price and was told that they would research less expensive units and they would notify me when they had news. That was 3 weeks ago and I have not heard from them. I am looking for care elsewhere.

She was very thorough in testing my vision and helping me understand the different lens types to accommodate the presbyopia I've recently started experiencing. I also have dry eyes, which introduces another complication when choosing frames. This clinic is one of the only providers of 7eye frames (for dry eyes) in the twin cities, and Dr. Ko was very patient, taking the time to ensure I understood all of my options before choosing a frame. She also has a wealth of holistic knowledge about dry eyes and was able to provide useful insight around treatments, etc. The entire staff was very kind, friendly, and professional. They're really empathetic and dedicated to providing the best service possible.

I have cheaper pairs of Glasses from other places and shechecks the prescription for me and told me they were just fine but there's no way I get this kind of replacement from anywhere else. She knows how much I love my and that my injury means that my other glasses are all too heavy and they got them for me in just a couple days. You won't find a better eye doctor or product.

This place deserves the recognition for spectacular service and I hope others have the same experience and add their thoughts. Keep in mind this is a VA (veterans affairs) OUTPATIENT clinic. Not for emergencies and you need to call to make appointments with the providers. They have toooons of classes to help Veterans and a plethora of brochures. There are health classes for diet and nutrition, when you first arrive for your initial appointment you should receive a folder with important documents to help out. The very first time I came here I was floored with the exceptional service. With the exception of one person working there, every single provider + assistants/RN (excuse me for incorrect titles, my knowledge is fuzzy in that area), to the receptionists; everyone has been phenomenal. I'd give this place 15 stars if I could. Claudette was fantastic in helping me (2/11/20) get paperwork to enroll and gave me extra info + a book to help me out. She said she'd check back today or tomorrow to make sure it went through. She was very friendly, sweet, and kind. I've consistently had amazing service here by all of the ladies at the front desk. One time I showed up wearing sunglasses due to a horrid migraine and they all understood from the front desk that said to keep them on, to the provider that was amazing and turned the lights off/down. The virtual calls you can make on the computers there - fantastic! The guy I spoke with said to keep my sunglasses on or I could turn off the lights and continue the video call. The ladies and gents taking blood were understanding and made me laugh so hard to distract from the head pain. Seriously, every single person that day, my first day nonetheless, didn't make me feel weird or make fun of me for the migraine. I've never had such wonderful service at a location. This set the bar high. Whenever I have appointments at Ramsey I get excited, because I feel like I'm home and with family when I'm there. Keep it up, y'all are doing great things to help veterans. From a vet to everyone that works there - thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of us. You truly go above and beyond and providing stellar service.

I gave it one star because its almost impossible to call and not be put on hold for more than a minimum of 5-10min. Even scheduling in person is insane. They attempt to do everything electronically on IPADS but it seems to cause more issue. They also have not yet straightened out an on going filing error they made so we spend at least 10 min explaining and almost arguing over their mistake. They just seem to always be running around like chickens with their heads cut off. On the other hand the therapist I've met is great! Libby is awesome :)

They don't cancel appointments on me as I am travelling to said appointment and they seem to do a pretty good job of communicating my needs to chemists/pharmacists (I have some pretty odd allergies). Dr. Lori and her team have done more for my whole-body/life health in the last 6 months than Nystrom and others did in a combination of 14+years. I only wish I had switched sooner! I love their flexibility and non-guilt-trip attitude when the rare occasion does occur such as you were called in to work and will be unable to make an appointment. My single gripe is that scheduling appointments can take a little longer than you'd want. You can spend quite a while standing there. I don't know what a receptionist job there entails, but I feel like there's probably a way to streamline that. Yay FLMHC! I love your no-nonsense approach to helping others! Your staff seems to truly have genuine compassion as well. They're not just there because it's a way to pay the bills!

After an all day training and major headache and a lot of traffic, I was frantically calling different eye doctors I googled in the area. When I called Eye West they were extremely helpful, kind and understanding on the phone. My fear was I either wasn't going to make it with traffic or walk in right when they were closing which is exactly what happened. Despite walking in 3 minutes before closing time, the kind and helpful attitude remained. They worked with me to find some sample contacts that matched my prescription. True life savers that week!! SoundPoint is the best dealership I have experienced. Appointments are readily available. Technical and clerical staff are both friendly and competent. First time she arrived for pickup, they gave her an unmatching set (two different colors and sizes); second time they called that the replacement set was in. When mom drove all the way for her appointment, the hearing aids had actually not arrived at the store. For the third appointment, my mom got lost and was a few minutes late. After making her drive there for two previous appointments that wasted her time due to their incompetence, they actually refused to help her and insulted her and made another appointment for a week later. We took our business elsewhere. DO NOT USE THEM!!!
