From Kansas City but Was in Minnesota this week for business. Realized waking up on Tuesday morning I had forgotten my contacts at home. After an all day training and major headache and a lot of traffic, I was frantically calling different eye doctors I googled in the area. When I called Eye West they were extremely helpful, kind and understanding on the phone. My fear was I either wasn't going to make it with traffic or walk in right when they were closing which is exactly what happened. Despite walking in 3 minutes before closing time, the kind and helpful attitude remained. They worked with me to find some sample contacts that matched my prescription. True life savers that week!! Not a huge fan of this place, when I 1st went there it was great seen the 1st Dr that was very sweet, she explained that bifocal contacts can be tough that I would need a few appointments to find the perfect pair. I was open to that because I never wore contacts before, 3rd appointment I had to have an appointment rescheduled at the St Michael location from Rogers as the Dr was sick. That is when things changed, I felt the Dr there was rushed and kind of dismissive I thought ok she is having a bad day. She ordered more contacts I waited a week when I went to pick them up, they were the same strength that was strange because left eye is worse than the right. I explained to the person in front she went back and talked with someone and again I was dismissed and told it is what it is. Needless to say, they didn't work. My appointment yesterday I explained my concerns and the Dr said that was really strange I got the same strength contacts AND that they have patience if you measure from A-Z that are on visit N because it's tough to find a good set that works for your eyes. We did some test she was consulting with another DR outside the room. A few minutes later the same Dr from St Michael comes in holds up some slides to my eyes (all blurry) says she will order a new set of Contacts that are new on the market. (Acuvue Oasys Max) change the strength and said that basically that's the last pair nothing more they can do for me??? 1st I told them from day one the Acuvue were the best for my eyes yet I kept getting other brands. 2nd the Dr before her just explained the A-Z visits yet I am on visit D and I am told that's it? For some reason this DR took a dislike to me maybe because I complained about her assertiveness and ordering the WRONG strength contacts. Either way I am not sure but will be contacting my insurance and letting them know and finding a new eye Dr that does not say one thing then tell me they are done because she made a mistake and I called her out on it. I would suggest not going here, the 1st Dr was so great and sweet then I was told something wrong about billing and ordered the wrong strength contacts. People make mistakes I get it but normal balanced people apologize I was never upset however I am paying for a service. If your new at Contacts find a placé that listens and admits to mistakes not basically get upset and say, there is nothing they can do for you when 4 other people say it's a process that can take a long time. All because you made a mistake and apparently can't admit to it. read more

After going to another eye clinic and having 5 failed attempts to get contacts to work before my wedding day I thank God I called Eyewest Optical in Rogers and got in with Dr. Chris Roghai. He nailed my proscription within the first try! From the moment I called and walked in the front desk was amazing! Very professional which I feel like now a days is missing and the clinic itself is BEYOND cute! It's kind of like being in your own home the decor is so cute. Plus shopping for glasses is much more soothing than most clinics where the lights are blaring at you. I am forever grateful that all my wedding photos I didn't have to wear my glasses and that Eyewest took good care of me. read more

My experiences at Eye West have been exceptional. The staff helped me find just the right fit and style of sunglasses to fit my facial profile, and they are the nicest and best fitting sunglasses I have ever had. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our office also works regularly with their office, and Drs. Colby, Gill, Dunphy, and Roghair are exceptional across the board from both a personal and medical standpoint. Highly knowledgeable and up to date medical care. I have been seeing Dr. Gill for 5 + years. I found their clinic because it was close to my office. My work has moved out of Rogers but due to the care I have received by Dr. Gill, Dr. Dunphy and Wendy in the optical department I will go to Rogers or St. Michael for my eye care always! An example: I need to see very small print, I brought an example of my work into Dr. Gill and she helped adapt my contacts to give me close up vision. She is very, very patient and works with me until the vision is right! Recently I purchased glasses. Dr. Dunphy (in Dr. Gill's absence), Dr. Gill and Wendy worked with me to find a solution so I can read my computer (mid range) and read things in close range. Again very, very patient with me during this process. They really are customer service oriented!! read more

Dr. Leah Colby and her associates are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They are truly experts, and want the very best care for their patients. I love their clinics... so clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, too. I waited 30-some years to get my first eye exam, and Dr. Colby was kind and patient with me. The most important thing, in my opinion, is that I know I can TRUST her, and the quality of care I will receive from any of her associates. read more
