I'm only giving a two star rating because of the following: While at IOP I arrived thirty minutes early a few times, and the admin was quick to scold me for being too early. This was quite annoying because I live in Cypress, and I had to drive thirty minutes to an hour to get there. This is not something that a paying customer should have to endure. The Aftercare program, which I also attended, was much less beneficial. It quickly became apparent that it was just a repeat of the IOP program. To me, it was simply a waste of time and money. I found that the therapist who led the group would let certain people monopolize the time which became a source of frustration that caused me to quit. Needless to say, the issues with the admin's customer service skills continued during this time as well.

It's not even proven to be an effective method of therapy for kids with learning disabilities. They are locked in a room with the therapist for 45 minutes and part of the therapy consists of extremely inappropriate games such as sword fighting. It teaches the kids how to fight and be aggressive. Sherri and Lynn are both a joke. Super goofy and racist. Sherri is an intern who is not even licensed and has ZERO credentials. Why the hell do they have an intern doing therapy sessions without supervision? If you have a child of color, I would strongly recommend you run from this place. Find a real therapist who understands your culture and who doesn't have a superiority complex.

I went to Sterling Physical Therapy initially for an arm injury, which later led to therapy on my…read moreback and hip. I saw Dr. Sierra and Valencia while there, and I can't sing their praises enough! Their work, education and support have changed my life. Because of them, I can move freely again- something I realized I hadn't been doing for YEARS. They taught me the correct body mechanics and made me feel amazing. I have now joined a gym and am working out with confidence. However, what has really been life changing is that before I worked with them, I didn't think I would be able to keep up with a baby and had put off pregnancy. Dr. Sierra and Valencia helped me strengthen and correct my body so well that I am now on a pregnancy journey! I am now seeing Dr. Najah for pelvic floor therapy (also at Sterling!) who has already taught me so much in 2 sessions. I love going to PT, and have so much fun laughing with the girls.
