The atmosphere is nice here, there's toilets (porta potties), a snack bar (with alcohol too!), a really good peanut butter cup hot chocolate! Yum! Plenty of seating for parents. Even a fire pit! I think some more fire pits would be nice...social distancing! So my one complaint...no one was enforcing masks. So many people walking around with "drinks" for extended amount of time, with their masks down their chins. I watched kids sit their butts on the area of the picnic tables in front of the snack shack where people eat. Eww. I feel like we'd enjoy this venue so much more if COVID wasn't a thing. Maybe next year!

The entire property is like a Norman Rockwell painting. The beautiful sleighs and horses, multiple fire pits with s'mores kits, complimentary hot chocolate, and jingle bells from the sleighs heard all throughout. Bring your own blanket and cuddle up with those you love as you ride thru beautiful scenery, over bridges, beside frozen rivers and gazebos covered in white lights. It's romantic. It's magical. The bathrooms haven't had any papertowels, lockerroom bathrooms were gross. Last but most important the parking. Paying to park is the most asinine thing they PAID to implement to bring in revenue. I seriously hope there is a fundraising event or grant writer out there in works for another ice rink because I now hate having to come here...not a welcoming environment at all anymore.

The best thing about this place is the cheap rental $5, skating is $5/ person, 5 yrs under skate for free. We wanted our daughter to try skating for the first time, so found this place online. Be sure to bundle up as it is cold on the ice. The push bars for beginners are hung by the side of the rink, and its first come first serve, free. They have a basic snack bar, no locker, but plenty of space on the bench to park your shoes and things. Great place to bring your kid for a few hours of indoor fun.

Also, there are 6 locker rooms....so it enabled the flow of the teams in and out during the tournament to be very well organized. Oh...and the locker rooms are not absolutely freezing (the rink is cold...but it's supposed to be). The ice was generally in good shape - considering it was constantly being used. I've definitely skated on worse. There's a concession stand and a viewing area that's "inside" for those that can't handle the colder bleacher area. Very nice, well maintained facility.
