I am so thankful that we chose to handle the arrangements through Wade - they made the process very easy (which is a really big deal when you can't process things very well), they communicated well, they were kind and sincere, the home is a beautiful place to for loved ones to say their farewell, and the pricing was excellent! Hopefully, I will not have to make any more funeral arrangements but I would absolutely go back to Wade if I needed to do so in the future.

The obituary that Karen Lamb wrote (the funeral director) was perfect and the funeral service that was held the following day at Washington crossing national cemetery was beautiful. When we arrived at the cemetery they did a tribute to my father for serving in WW2 and I was presented with the American flag. What an honor for my Father. May he rest in peace. I know we are under restrictions due to the covid 19 virus so I feel I need to let that weigh in here but I still truly feel that this was some of the most disrespectful and insensitive things I have witnessed . I have never seen the casket lowered or the vault closed . I watched the funeral director complain and talk down to our party of 9 people that were allowed to be there and I also watched her leave as soon as she possibly could . I know that it shows this as a family run business but i know that is no longer the fact and I also can say that these people have a lot to learn as far as respect and dignity go . We spoke to another local funeral home that was so overpriced and so u helpful and insensitive. I called and spoke with Dan at Galzerano and right away he put me at ease. He was kind and very sympathetic. He was never driven by the cost only how to help. He asked questions that I wasn't even aware of concerning ways to lower the cost. Unfortunately, the services…read moreDennison funeral home provided for my grandfather's funeral were absolutely appalling, embarrassing and disrespectful to my family and grandfather. My grandfather deserved the upmost respect and honor but we will not get a chance at that now. The staff showed up on wrinkles and stained clothing. The readings were not personal and the speech given by the staff was almost a joke. One of the staff members stood right behind the urn for the entire service and we had to stare at him rather than remember my grandfather. Finally, we asked for the remains so that we could distribute them personally. They were given to us in an actual zip block bag and a crinkled envelope like his life never matter. I don't think I will ever get over how awful this day turned out to be. Like I said it's unfortunate we don't get another chance to make this right for my grandfather and family. I warn you to stay away if you want to bring honor to those who have passed.

My father was in hospice care recently.   I decided to be proactive and reach out to the funeral…read morehome on behalf of my mother, to get an idea of what was available to fulfill my parents wishes.   My family had used Lambie Funeral Home 3 times prior for two of my great uncles and my grandmother.  The last time was about 10 years ago. After emailing them, I received a phone call from David Lambie to talk to me personally about what we were looking for (cremation,  memorial service,  live streaming,  death certificates,  social security and Medicare notifications, paperwork to fly the ashes internationally)and the costs.    David was kind and caring.  He took his time and explained the processes, step by step.     A week and a half later, my father passed away. I called David just after midnight.  He was there within half an hour to pick up my dad.      The next day, we met with David and worked out the obituary and the rest of the arrangements.   He listened to us, and he made thoughtful suggestions.  Over the next few days, he was patient and attentive as we edited the obituary   and memorial cards several times.  He added and edited our picture montage several times as well.  He was always patient, and kind and sympathetic. He and his lovely wife, Dana, recommended several restaurants for our post memorial reception.    On the day of the Celebration of Life he had someone in the parking lot upon our arrival, ready to help us bring in our pictures, photo albums,  and other props. From the moment we walked in the door, David was there and ready to help us set up our memory vignettes.  My dad had multiple businesses throughout his life and we set up stations that payed homage to his entrepreneurial endeavors.      David went above and beyond.  We had family across the country who were not able to fly in for the services. David started the live feed an hour early so our family members could watch the reception before the services and eulogies started.      The services and eulogies were heart warming and stirring.   At the end of everything,  we had so many people approach us and compliment us on the best funeral that they had ever attended.   I don't know about you,  but I've never been to a funeral that was such a stand out,  that I wanted to remark about it to the family.  We heard it over and over again.   This was all made possible by David & Dana Lambie.    When we were leaving,  David & Dana had everything ready for us.  They had a flash drive of the services, the guest book, the framed picture of my father from the memorial service, and the paperwork we would need to transport the ashes internationally.        They were thorough and efficient, warm and caring.  I can't say enough wonderful things about them.   I would recommend them highly.   They are professional,  effective,  compassionate and a credit to their profession.  When you need funeral services,  know that these people will handle every detail with the utmost care.   David and Dana Lambie are absolutely fantastic!
