On our previous visits we spoke with multiple staff members who indicated that because of the time that had passed they would have to research the issue and get back to us. It appears that due to staff turn over we were not provided with the requested information. In our attempts to settle the estate of the person who would be the owner of any burial plots if there were any, we again contacted the cemetery and this time we were spoke with Andrea Harvey who was very receptive to our need to resolve this matter. After checking the files she indicated that there were no other records indicating that he owned other burial sites at the cemetery, but she would continue to research the matter. A few days passed and we received a call that she had located additional information and there was in fact additional burial sites. I don't know how often this issue occurs and it is probably easier to just say, "that's what the records say", but Andrea went the extra mile and determined that our family members were in fact correct. She should be commended for her efforts to effectively resolve our long standing questions. David L.

Any funeral and its associated services are going to be expensive but Visconto did not make me feel pressured with upselling of goods and services. This is the second time my family has used their services. First in 2022, when my mother passed away and just this year (2026) when my brother passed away. Before my brother passed, he wanted to do some preplanning. Lou came to our home and spoke with my brother and it made things easier when the time came. Jena was great. She worked her magic with a very well put together slideshow that had music in the background. Mike and staff were great when the evening viewing was held. The funeral mass was very well done. There was even a hiccup that occurred with the cemetery. Lou and family advocated and supported me throughout that process. My brother's urn was held for safekeeping at the funeral home. With the funeral services held April 17 & 18 and the burial service at the service finally held on May 20, that is why I am truly satisfied with the high quality services provided by Visconto Funeral Home. I like to call it the Visconto Family Funeral Home, where your affairs are truly a family affair.

In any case, I've been to several funerals here and it's a great inner-city funeral home. The building has style and substance, and it just feels more personal than other homes I've been in. Most seem so sterile and bland, it feels like you're at a funeral. Here, it's still sad that you're saying goodbye, but it feels more personal. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. I don't know what else to say. It's been a good experience (as good as it can be considering it's a funeral) all around.

I know we are under restrictions due to the covid 19 virus so I feel I need to let that weigh in here but I still truly feel that this was some of the most disrespectful and insensitive things I have witnessed . I have never seen the casket lowered or the vault closed . I watched the funeral director complain and talk down to our party of 9 people that were allowed to be there and I also watched her leave as soon as she possibly could . I know that it shows this as a family run business but i know that is no longer the fact and I also can say that these people have a lot to learn as far as respect and dignity go . They even helped us place obituaries in the newspaper. The staff was kind and considerate, providing us with transportation to the gravesite and printing out schedules and maps to help attendees get to my home. They announced the times for others to come to my home to offer condolences and support. Throughout the process, they provided us with support and comfort. We used Beck Givnish for my mother's, funeral services, on 9/6-9/7. The services were very…read moreprossional. As people arrived, they were directed to the right where there were two boards of pictures the family had selected as most representative of my mother. They continued to a screen that scrolled through 25 pictures depicting my mom in various stages of life. These pictures were choreographed to three songs the family chose in advance. As a matter of fact, I made a last minute change to one of the songs, and they successfully incorporated the change even though the original montage had been completed. Next, there was a beautiful board for comments and a poster of all the photos we chose in a framed picture. Guests were given a pictorial of 11 of the families favorite photos. I would use their services again. Recommended.
