I was scammed by this company! They are not even registered with the BBB and I have read online…read morethat they have a suspended license. They pushed me off to we haul Moving Company in care of Rachel and I was bullied, harassed and belittled upon pick up. They tried to swindle more money from me so I told him to leave, they will not give me a refund. They will not give me any money back when they literally did nothing but stress me out and torment me for the last few weeks. I will never stop telling people or media sources about the lack of professionalism and care with this company. I am shocked that so many people suffer at the hands of them. It is terribly sad . Buyer beware!!!

I had to run back to old house to pick up items that were not put on the truck, and could not fit in the initial trip to new house. then finding out that one of the moving people, packed up items into boxes without being asked to...just did it. I am sorry...that is not acceptable and kind of rude to pack items and not discuss with the homeowner(s). Plus you charged for it. If you want to ask if we want that packed and get an answer, ok...but don't just do it. While on my trip to old house and back home again....there were just to many things that just, was wrong. You don't stack things all nilly willy in someone's house/rooms/garage. I got back to our new place...there were boxes stacked everywhere...on furniture, on the floor. Needless to say, I was PISSED! you pick same size boxes...stack them neatly in the rooms where they belong (most were marked and the movers did not even read the boxes)...thus why my Mom was so overwhelmed with what was happening. They may have been professional boxing and moving into the trucks...but out of them.

The WORST experience, or should I say nightmare. We booked 2-30' trucks and 5 men plus driver for…read morean out of state move for April with them in January. Unbeknownst to us, they brought in a third party moving company (State to State Relocations) a month before our scheduled move. When I questioned STS about why they were involved I was told they're a subsidiary of 2 Men. I was then told by STS that my inventory would require a 30' and 40' truck, and the additional 10' I would get with the 40' would be $6,000. We negotiated down to $3,000. However, when they arrived on moving day, there was only 1-30' truck and 3 men. We were then told they would load the truck, take it to their shipping yard and come back for another load, after which they would load everything in an 18 wheeler for delivery to our new state. After much drama, the supervisor (Nolan) left to get the 2nd truck yet brought back a small Penske truck. We had to cram our vehicles with our belongings because their trucks were full. Nolan then advised that if we wanted a direct delivery it would cost an additional $9,000. Or we would have to wait until they could deliver our stuff which would take upwards of to 1-2 months. I immediately called his superior (Peter) who CLAIMED it was a miscommunication. They would deliver as expected. During the 12 hr drive to our new state we saw they were behind us. I then received a call from Nolan advising his company wanted him to fly to Honolulu from Reno, which was an hour ahead, and Nolan asked if I could give him $5,000 of the balance we owed for travel expenses. He said the 2 men with him would be fine delivering our belongings. I told him absolutely not. The 2 men did not speak English, which would be impossible to deal with plus I had no intention of giving him any money before delivery. Nolan advised they would deliver that night when we arrived and I told him no way are we going to be in any shape after a 12 hr drive. We agreed on 8 am the following morning. However, they didn't show up until 10 am, shattered a 4'x5' antique wall mirror, chipped and scratched several pieces of antique furniture, left all the packing materials, and asked for a tip. During this entire time, we were calling Robert with STS Since he was who booked our original move. Still, at no time did Robert admit that he was not involved. A move that was originally booked at $16,000.00 ended up costing us $35,000.00. They had us backed into a corner and we felt we had no alternative but to just get through it, since the buyers wanted the house the next morning. NEVER, EVER, use either of these movers. We found out afterwards that STS does this bait and switch as a regular practice. The number of complaints is unbelievable, where people still don't have their belongings.

The company website says on the main page "Honesty, integrity and devotion". Also stated on the website is "Our full service movers are completely devoted to ensuring that every relocation we handle is a stress-free and memorable experience." For my move I received none of these promises. My move was handled in a totally incompetent and non-professional way with no regard to me or my possessions. The process from pick-up to delivery was horrendous and extremely stressful. I lost many items during my move and my possessions were delivered 45 days after pick-up. The move was miss-managed from pick-up to delivery. I contracted with IVL for the move and they chose LA Transfer and Storage to complete my move. I also had issues with IVL which I will be communicating to them as well. Pick-up was performed from 9 pm to 5 am on 9/22 with a follow-up to pick-up more items on 9/24. My friend had to handle the pick-up process and was not able to stay during the pick-up. As a result, many items were not listed on the inventory list. The furniture was poorly packed resulting in damage to several items. Items not boxed were three tower fans and a portable heater. These items were thrown in a box with no padding/protection and the box did not even have a lid. It was obvious there had been no communication with IVL as the pick-up driver was trying to charge me for services that were included in the binding estimate. Also, I do not understand why the inventory list I gave IVL wasn't used to help determine what furniture items were to be picked up. A simple inventory check would have negated several problems. The estimate almost doubled at pick-up and due to the pick-up timeframe, my friend had no way of helping determine the square footage used. Delivery occurred after many promises as to the delivery date. Once the items were on the truck the delivery date was changed 4 times. Each time I was given a delivery date only to find out less than 24 hours prior that the date changed. Thank goodness I did not have a job because I would never been able to accommodate the different delivery dates. The only positive communication experience I had during my move was with the dispatcher who was extremely friendly and professional. I realize that the issues I had during my move were not her responsibility. Delivery was also handled with a lack of concern for me or my items. I barely spoke with the driver who I felt did not even acknowledge me. Most of the communication with the delivery team was with the wonderful young man they hired to help move my stuff. But since he was not part of the LA T&S team, I had no reason to complain to him. I will be writing many reviews on the BBB website to as many moving websites that I can find. This move was handled in such a negative way with, let me repeat, a total lack of concern for me and my possessions; possessions which are very precious and represent my life. Moving is stressful enough that having the actual move of my possessions being handled so poorly made the total moving process traumatic enough to send me into a depression. I tried to communicate with IVL and LAT&S and no one has ever returned my calls, emails, or texts. Do Not Use This Company!

Originally we were scheduled to have 4 smaller pod-type of units from another company (orange logo). They punted us off of our confirmed delivery date twice which left us scrambling to figure something else out with less than a week to do so. While he was on his well deserved vacation, Aaron creatively altered his schedule to accommodate a new date when we decided to hire the actual PODs company. Before that, Aaron was unbelievably understanding when the first company kept telling us they couldn't deliver their "pods" as originally scheduled (twice!). Aaron and his crew were professional from the first phone call to the packing day. He showed up on time and went the extra mile to get everything wrapped and packed into the POD. He securely packed several fragile antique heirlooms that we were concerned about. PODs doesn't include pads and straps like the other company. I bought the pads, but forgot about the straps. Aaron gave us his personal ones so that everything would be secure and packed properly in the POD. Most importantly, Aaron was outstanding when it came to communication. He consistently responded sooner than I expected, timely relayed important information to us and confirmed prior to the packing date. Aaron never took a break but worked tirelessly to get the job done with speed and efficiency. His integrity and industry expertise is clearly evident in how he solidly runs his business, how he treats his clients with great respect and in the high quality of his work.
