I had given up after 3 years of having legs like elephants and my foot was 18 inches around. I had seen 2 other vein doctors and was told sorry we can't help you. I said ok, lets do this because you are my last hope. almost 2 years later my legs are back to normal, Lymphedema is under controlled. After 6 years trying to get knee replacements (bone on bone and in a wheelchair because I can't walk the knees are so bad) I have had 7 procedures and with each procedure things got better. The left leg was a struggle and just didn't want to go as good as the right, but we never gave up. Last procedure was done on Dec. 11th, 2025 and my left leg is back to normal now. Lymphedema will never go away but you can control it. They could not have been any more professional but also had a great sense of humor which helps to alleviate some of the apprehension a patient might have. Some patients may mistake Dr. Shuster's attitude as harsh (it isn't)but it is just that he is more concerned with your treatment and end results than he is winning any personality prizes. I've been a patient at this office for over 27 years. I began seeing the docs after a cardiac event when my son was born. An INCREDIBLY rude woman works in the nuclear testing and echo area. She was loud and humiliated me in front of a waiting room full of people to the point that she made me cry during my stress test. Totally unacceptable. I cant remember her name, but she's a big girl with long hair and glasses. I also had a dispute with the office staff over whether I cancelled an appointment I was charged for. I did. I'm very conscientious about keeping appointments and calling when I can't make it. After arguing on the phone with another rude supervisory woman, she said I was lying and sent me to collections. I haven't paid and have been barred from seeing my doctor until I do. As I said before I've been a patient here for over 27 years. A third incident was when a doctor walked through a common area and said good morning to one of the ladies in the checkout area. She didn't respond, gave him a dirty look, and completely blew him off. Maybe he's a creep, I don't know, but it was unprofessional.

This was before MDVIP After about a year I was feeling the best I had in over 20 years he did have a lot to fix lol. When he retired his son took over our care. He is also just as equal to the SR. And I have no complaints. I feel he listens, explains and is compassionate. I do not feel the staff is rude as stated in another review. I feel with so many sick callers sometimes they are very busy. They do take time when it is your turn to talk to them. We as patients need to have patients with them as well. I pay for the extra care because I feel I get extra care plan and simple. Health is everything. With MDVIP or without at this office it has always been above average care.
