I love Family Tys, the food is absolutely delicious and they have some of the nicest people working there. We've ordered multiple different foods from here but I personally always order the Pensacola steak sandwich, seasoned fries and strawberry lemonade. Every single time, it has been delicious. You know how sometimes you'll go to the same restaurant multiple times and not every time is the food as good as the last time, well Family Tys isn't like that. I've never been disappointed eating here. The food is tasty and reasonably priced and the portions are good as well. I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade, I never use to drink strawberry lemonade until I tasted theirs. It's yummy, not to sweet, not to sour, but just right. First time I called (during the posted online business hours) I got no answer and left a voicemail with a callback number. The voicemail said they were closed and were opening back up October 2025...I called in January 2026...anyway I called again a few days later and spoke with a woman who told me to send an email with details and what I would like. No response. Called the restaurant again the following day and spoke with Ty, the owner. He was unaware of the email. He said he would review it and call me back. Gave him my phone number again. Never called me back. Got an email the next day that they would not be able to accommodate with no explanation as to why. I had a graduation drop-in at my home for approximately 50 people from ages 8-80, even some with dietary restrictions. Ty really came through and the food was ahhhhhh-mazing!!!! This is some of the best food I have ever had the pleasure to eat in Pensacola. I have yet to be able to go inside (COVID precaution) to see who's cooking, but surely they have been blessed by God himself every-time they cook. This is an establishment that truly prides themselves on bringing quality flavor with every meal, and enjoys what they do. I will tell you right now that no one in Pensacola can beat Ty's wings and fries, and there is no one on the Gulf Coast who's making corn as delicious as they are. I also recommend getting a cupcake for dessert. This is a place where I can always expect to have that happy feel good foodie-glow after eating! With COVID in mind, Ty's does not have their dinning room open, but they are taking to-go orders over the phone. After placing your order they will call you to let you know your food is ready, and meet you at the door with receipt and food.
