My wife and I have both dealt with lower back pain for years and nothing ever truly helped--until we came here. Dr. Willmon gets straight to the point. After explaining what's going on, he knows exactly what needs to be adjusted and focuses on what actually helps. The front desk staff is also amazing; they've even watched my daughter on occasion while I was getting adjusted, which meant a lot to us. This practice is nothing short of spectacular all around. We can't thank you enough and will continue recommending you to everyone we know. Thank you!

I was told it was arthritis and was put on medicine. I called Dr. Willmon and in one phone call he was sure I had a herniated disk. He told me how to proceed with a local chiropractor to get an MRI. Sure enough, I had a herniated disk that was causing severe nerve pain. I ended up having surgery, but thanks to Dr. Willmon, I was able to get this done very quickly and I didn't have to wait and go through the normal insurance process of different tests. Even though I am in another state, he was able to diagnose my issue before the doctors who saw me in person. He is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him for treatment.

Most of my adult life I have been seeing chiropractors; finding a good one where ever I lived. A…read moreJersey girl living in Houston now. It had been almost 20 years since I saw a chiropractor. I had no idea where to start to find one I would trust in an area as huge as Houston. Bear with me, I'll try not to make it too long. When we moved more toward the 249/Louetta area, someone told me "Nextdoor" and I became a member. There, I saw that neighbors sought recommendations for various services, etc., so I inquired since I began to have quite low back pain I had not experienced before and on-going, never ending sciatica(I thought) sever pain/problems on one side, especially. I'm 66(yikes! now; going on 25 within, lol). My regular doctor said I must adjust my lifestyle, I'm getting older, and gave me meds for pain. My "lifestyle" is not super active; active in terms of yard work, though! At home and our weekend place further North. I still work full time and I do sit most of the day. = ( A chiro. I went to once in my work building, over a year ago made one (feeble) adjustment and gave me stretches to do. And basically did not want to see me again until I took care of the pain with the stretches (!) But those stretches were not helping. And the pain in the one leg could be excruciating at night trying to sleep, yes, excruciating! Some of the pain was sciatica, but not the only source. I agree with the reviews here - lovely office and staff, hands down. Dr. Dan listened to all I had to express. Being prone to anxiety, I had to get it all out, lol! He listened to everything patiently. Dr. Dan has a healing 'aura' about him. He believes in chiropractic and trusts what he has learned and does. Basically, I've been a 'mess' for quite a while, lol. My hips have been more like an empty see-saw, me sitting on one end, on the ground, and the top empty if you know what I mean. Sorry, that's the visual I just had. As with other reviewers, after the first visit, twice a week for two more weeks recommended. Second adjustment 8/21: low back pain gone and right back of hip pain gone. Today, 8/23, a.m. adjustment. Low back still no pain. My very bad right side back of hip(which triggers the sciatica - I think, lol), just a twinge today. I have only gone to Dr Dan 3 times! I could say I'm at a loss for words....but once this introvert starts writing...well. There is NO doubt I will stay with Dr. Daniel Dannug.

I came consistently until I had no more problems with that pain. What I didn't realize is how much it was going to help relieve me of my migraines!!! Wow!! Now I just come every 4-6 weeks at the most and I feel so good. One time I went to a different chiropractor and had to go immediately to Dr Chapman because I could tell something had not adjusted correctly for my body. He fixed it immediately.

I originally went due to a pinched nerve in my shoulder/lower neck. I had tingling down through my…read moreleft arm and slight numbness in 2 of my fingers. At first it was good. Tried to sell me on a long-term chiropractic treatment citing an underlying issue that sounded believable but not fully convincing. I went a few times afterward while also strengthening the muscles in the shoulder and stretching to loosen them up. The compressed nerve was no longer compressed, mobility in my shoulder was good, and I stopped going. Everything was good. To be clear, while chiropractic care helped, it was an accumulation of stretching, strength & conditioning, and chiropractic care that resolved the issue. Fast forward a few months later. My hips felt out of alignment with 1 leg being short than the other. I know I need to strengthen my hip abductors to help stabilize my hips and continue to strengthen my lower back as well, but figured going in to get an adjustment and realign my hips would be good. I stopped by, and was called back and almost immediately was questioned why I stopped coming. Now this is where I do not recommend this practice. I state I stopped because my issue was fixed and was about to continue explaining what resolved the issue, the dr interrupted me and went on a lecture about coming back regularly to solve an underlying issue that he had not even diagnosed beyond a quick feel months prior. No X-ray or anything to confirm, etc... I thought ok disagreement on what the issue is that's fine. No. It didn't stop there. He proceeded to explain how he fixed a patient of his who hadn't had pain in years because of his treatment. Didn't consider part of no pain is diet, exercise, and other important factors that reduce musculoskeletal pain. This is where in my mind I said no more. He talked about someone close to him who passed away from prostate cancer because he didn't work on his back pain. Cancer develops at a molecular level. It's a mutation within cells. It is not caused by musculoskeletal issues. It cannot be diagnosed nor treated through chiropractic medicine. If someone has cancer they go to an oncologist. If someone has issues with their foot they go to a podiatrist. Heart or cardiovascular problems? Cardiologist. Issues with your nervous system? Neurologist is guy. Chiropractic medicine is primarily for musculoskeletal issues. As I started to get up after the adjustment he tells me, "If you want to really fix your problem I'll see you next week." When you start trying to use fear based tactics to convince patients to enter into long-term treatment plans such as creating an underlying issue that is not named or truly diagnosed, or something that is out of scope of your specialty, you start to act more like an influencer masquerading as a doctor. Sorry, but start listening to your patients and use science backed treatment plans and less pseudoscience.
