Used to think chiropractors were pointless, but this place convinced me otherwise. Nicely decorated, very club/spa type vibe going on. The doc's great. Front receptionist are always nice and welcoming. After a few sessions I'm already feeling better, but will continue to go. If you don't know about the business, it's pretty much pay as you go, no real insurance type thing unless you have some sort of HSA. I personally think their plans are worth it. After you go the first time, more than likely you'll wanna go again. So instead of paying the $30 a pop, just do the plans. Location: behind Lubys, outbound 290 near Spring Cypress. Little strip with Massage Envy and some other places The Place: enough seating, never packed, usually seen pretty fast. Trendy environment The end: worth it for anyone with any type of spine issue. I've been coming here for about a year for upper back pain, neck pain, and migraines. They really worked with me to help improve my migraines and I realized how much my stress is affecting me which is a sad truth learning that. Called this location to see if they have a time that they accept their last appointment. I knew I would be arriving later than the 45-30 minute window that I was told it usually takes to do a new client appointment. I didn't want to drive there if I wouldn't be seen. All of this information was conveyed over the phone - including my ETA. I was told that I could come in. When I get there I was told that it takes 30-45 minutes to do a new appointment and they wouldn't be able to see me and given their hours for tomorrow. I'm very annoyed since I literally CALLED to avoid this issue. I wasted my time and my gas. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1, because I didn't actually get to utilize their services. Honestly, I can't tell you if this is a good practice or not. I just attempted to set up an appointment for my 16 year old son and was hung on up twice by the receptionist. She asked me what my sons troubles were and when I tried to explain his history she seemed to be pushing me not to set an appointment. When I called back after she hung up on me the second time, I went straight to voicemail. All the doctors at the Cypress, Texas location are dedicated to their patients. Dr. Shayan, Dr. Reid and Dr. Josh have all worked wonders in keeping my body pain free. I have been receiving their excellent care for two years and they are the reason why I keep physically going at my age of 61. Without their EXCELLENT chiropractic care to help maintain my overall health I would have probably checked in the hospital by now to begin a regimen of pain meds. They ALWAYS keep my physical well-being a priority as they always make suggestions and educate me on spinal care during my visits. Today, Dr. Josh manipulated my neck and after doing so I began to feel instant pain and stress relief at the base of my skull. Personally, I came to this office in absolute pain. They gave me healthy coaching for stretches and information on proper mobility exercises. I wasn't nervous for the body alignment until I laid down. I had this fear of pain and discomfort. However it wasn't painful or uncomfortable. I went in this week for the first time ever seeing a chiropractor for neck pain I have had for over a month. It was very much an in an out visit - barely any time spent discussing the issues. I left and that night the pain increased x10 - I couldn't move my neck at all. The next day wasn't any better. The Director, Dr. Gingras, called to follow up and I explained I was in a lot of pain. She asked me to come back that night and she would take a look at what was going on. I came back and instead was pushed off to another Dr who didn't ask anything about pain - just started popping my back and neck. Dr. Gingras was in the room this whole time yet never came to talk to me. I ended up leaving not any better and no solution for the pain. read more

Dr. Mackey is HORRIBLE. She talked down to me both times i have been there. She is not personable at all. She is rude as hell. She also repetitively says my name when speaking to me. She is someone who has let her education blow her head up. My sister has been there as well and had the same experience with her. I used to go to this location a lot about a year ago and the doctors they had on staff were awesome. I wont be going back to this location. Dr. Mackey swore she has never seen me before and argued with me about it like i was imagining it. As i was walking out the receptionist said Dr. Mackey has seen you once before. Now or when i graduate with my doctorate degree next year i will never let the education go to my head. read more

Like so many of us moving to the Cypress area, I found it a difficult task to replace my Chiropractor but I feel confident that The Joint Cypress location can handle my ongoing issues. The convenience is what attracted me, but discovered the pricing plans were extremely affordable! Only $49 a month for 4 visits! I was spending that in just ONE visit! I had Dr Tran with my visit, and my first impression was..."there is no way this small woman is gonna be able to adjust me!" Boy was I wrong! read more
