She said something to the effect of understanding that & went in. I was on my phone (literally talking with the police) & she came back out & told in the rudest way I was in the way & to move so I wasn't blocking the driveway. She had just come in behind me & there was plenty of room but I moved really close to the fece to make as much space as humanly possible (You could easily fit a garbage truck in & out of there). I kept dealing with my emergency- obviously I'm focused on this & another woman came out HOT telling me I was asked to move & I needed to leave! I was never asked not to park there but who guards their empty parking lot like that?? There was PLENTY of parking. The lot was essentially empty. I was literally just thinking about a week ago how I should try bringing my dogs in to try them as a new vet because it's just minutes from my house. No way I'm using a business this petty who's staff is THAT concerned with a 50 year old lady making phone calls on a hot day in the shade in their parking lot. No vet I have ever been to has time to patrol a nearly empty parking lot. Yikes!

Called to make a well appointment for my dog - didn't need shots, and he wasn't sick, but we had…read morejust moved here and I made it CLEAR when I made the appointment that I basically wanted to get to know the VET. Long story short, she said that he needed some tests for a heart murmur (I knew about it from my previous VET) so I agreed to all the tests they suggested - x-ray, blood, etc. SEVEN weeks later I finally called their office for the test results and was told that there was a mix-up because I had seen a TEMPORARY VET and they would have to call me back. A tech called back the next day to tell me all the tests were fine but a follow up was recommended in six months - plenty of time to find a VET for GOOD care!

We had one kit cat come for help during the ice storms. She was skinny, freezing and crying. My poor husband has finally realized that his wife is a crazy animal lady. We brought her in and isolated her in our downstairs bathroom so that we could treat her flea infestation. Big fans of flea bath, capstar and a month long flea treatment. We named her Mira and got her into this clinic. My regular one didn't have openings for a few weeks. They found her micro chip, however we also found that it was never registered. We searched all the lost pet forums, pages and all the apps to no avail. So we got her up to date with shots and back to good health. My friend ended up becoming her furever home. We've found two others since then, the last one just this month we couldn't come back (too long of a schedule out period) but I will say that we've always been pleased with our care here. They've handled our strays with care and compassion, and understanding that these kitties aren't as acclimated to much human attention. I highly recommend this vet.

And…read moreas she did, we took him to the VCA emergency hospital and then to Dr Henson, who is his regular vet. But we had the exact opposite experience. Long story short, VCA was horrible. We were there for 12 hours and they did nothing but take a blood test and sedate him. We called Dr Henson the next day. She had a full schedule and could have told us to make an appointment for another day, but instead told us that she'd see him that day between appointments. She gassed him to sleep, extracted the urine and sent us home with some morphine. He is much better today and is back to pissing like a racehorse. I will admit that she can be gruff, and to be frank this was off-putting at first. She could use a refresher course on bedside manner (sorry doc, but I calls 'em as I sees 'em) but we have never had a vet who cares more about her patients. That is obvious to the most casual observer. This woman is passionate about cats. If you want someone who gives a damn about your beloved pet, doesn't charge ridiculous fees and try to up-sell you every chance they get,(Cat Care Professionals, those last two points are yours) check your tender little feelings at the door as we did and put your pet's needs first. You won't find anyone better in these here parts. Period.

We took our puppy there for loose and bloody stools, for which they did a blood test, and did not do a fecal exam. Which is what we preferred and they pushed the bloodwork instead. They prescribed medicine that didn't even work. So we got a second opinion and it ended up being Giardia, and two other parasites. I'd say this vet isn't very thorough, should listen to their clients needs better, and do fecal exams more often. This could have been avoided had they done better.
