This was the only reason I purchased them for weekday availability as it is very difficult for me to take off work on a Saturday. When I called to schedule, I was told that the course is not 8 hours and more like 4-5 hours & that they only have them available on Saturdays. I was very disappointed to hear that I was mislead by the Groupon and their website. I went to their Instagram page & they had a post that showed the dates available to schedule for the certification class. Along with the dates was an excerpt saying that you can message them to request a weekday for an extra cost. I messaged them through that specific post explaining my situation and they deleted the post and never responded to me. I also left a message on their website as well & they never got back to me. I am very disappointed as I was super interested in attending and would've certainly posted about it and recommended other people to attend & attend other events, or gifted to others. Edit: I knew the owner would respond and that is why I included that it is written on YOUR website and YOUR instagram page that you have weekdays available. It's not just misinformation through Groupon, it's you too!

He also said that there was Kahluah in the Sex on the beach and when the class told him there wasn't he said "oh my book has a different recipe". I highly doubt his book had a different recipe, he made a mistake and didn't want to own up to it. That day was the day that we learned the drinks that needed to be shaken and he didn't teach anyone how to shake. People where shaking from left to right by their waist with the glasses horizontal, I taught my partner how to shake the proper way and I am a paying student, I shouldn't be teaching her. The dye used for coloring the fake alcohol leaves your hands colored for days and is not presentable for people who do have a job and need to work the next day. Also, there are labels halfway to almost being peeled off on some of the bottles which doesn't teach people what they look like. Also, I don't think it is very professional to be using acronyms such as "OJ's ASS" or "OJ's VERY TIGHT LITTLE ASS". This is embarrassing to your establishment and makes people not take the class seriously at all. Also, there is mold on every inch of that bar. It absolutely disgusting. It shows the new people that it is okay to have a bar this filthy. It was so gross and very hazardous. This school is such a waste of time And money. I don't want to return due to the bad teaching and the establishment. I was extremely disappointed in the school and would like a full refund since the place is a mess and it's dangerous to be standing in mold for 8 hours straight especially when I know that the Health Department would have a field day in your school. I spoke to them and asked for a refund and they told me no since I had completed days of training already. I had told them that if I found all the poor things out about their establishment on day 1, I would have but everyday was something new going wrong there and they still wouldn't refund me. I felt the school provided the basics and prepared the students with what is needed to be successful as a bartender. I felt the test scheduling could have been more flexible but I felt comfortable and prepared taking the required tests. More emphasis could be placed on practicing in teams to mirror the actual pour test so the test is less stressfull to the students. I liked the use of acrynyms and the methods used to remember the many recipe's. I liked the idea of going to an actual bar in the area to get a more realistic feel. Overall the school does a good job preparing you to tend bar.
