What boy can I say child this place is fantastic. I am just waiting for somebody with some money to throw another wedding reception. Here I had the top of my life. The service was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. The ambience was incredible. The way they cater to us with different type of food and desserts. They had take-home containers and take home bags at one point in the reception the whole room slide it back to a whole other room full of desserts it was so much food and so many different varieties of food. You will not be disappointed if I ever get married or have a big birthday party. It will definitely be thrown at this place. This place is a 10 out of 10 I loved everything about it. I have no complaints at all beautiful beautiful beautiful.

Most elegant and beautiful party venue . Absolutely gorgeous property. Cocktail hour is phenomenal in selection and taste. You need valet your car . Service was off tonight. Slow in bringing food and taking away dirty dishes.

My job rented out a section of this venue for us. It was our bank's employee appreciation party. The staff: They were friendly and very helpful when we needed to take pictures of our colleagues. The food was great and was spread out on one side of the venue while the other side was for us to sit, eat, and dance. They had the drinks in the far back corner for us and the DJ was in the front center. Overall: This was actually a pleasant experience for our first time attending this venue.

One of my favorite venues in north jersey. They execute really well for weddings. Cocktail hour was very lavish and delicious. The ballrooms are beautiful and spacious. My favorite part was the Viennese - literally like a scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

Came here for a wedding. Valet parking only . The grounds and the inside of the venue are appealing, it doesn't have that run down look that many venues in nj do. The cocktail hour had a range of stations ranging from Chinese, American, Italian. The best things I tasted were the short rib ravioli, lobster ravioli, and spicy tuna roll. The worst would be the bao buns which were too sweet, and the cheeseburgers which were over cooked. For the main event, the crab cakes were substantial but could use less mayo, the lemon sorbet was refreshing, the short rib was tender but lacked a lot of flavor. For our particular table and surrounding tables it was hard to tell if the waiter was inexperienced or just not good. He read the menu off of a handwritten paper, came back and asked guests what they're order was again and got it wrong, never came back with a majority of our drinks even after asking over again, but the worse thing was not everyone at our table got our mains. It came to a point that everyone was almost finished and a guest never got their food, we had 3 people flag him down. Service was, it could just be him, horrendous. Overall, it's a beautiful venue with good food.

Beautiful venue spot with tons of rooms for different parts of the event, clean bathrooms, and tons of lovely areas outside for taking photos. I attended a beautiful wedding at this venue and I was amazed by the area. There are tons of parking available, both valet and not. There's also lots of rooms inside. We went from one room of having breakfast and waiting for the ceremony to another room where the actual ceremony was held. Then everyone went to the grand ballroom for the actual reception, which had a door leading to outside that had a waterfall type of sculpture along with nice seats. There was also lots of space on the dance floor! As for the food, everything was amazing. The event that I attended early in the day and so the breakfast served in the morning consisted of delicious pastries. The cocktail hour had a huge assortment of different foods ranging from fried calamari, paella, pastas, raw seafoods and even sushi. The options were endless and the flavors were great. There was a set menu for the reception but every item was delicious as well. Overall, this is a beautiful spot to hold an event. The only con was that the ceremony was in a pretty tight room but that could have been how the hosts wanted it.

If I had to describe The Venetian in one word it would definitely be elegant. As soon as you step inside you feel like you're transformed into a beautiful different era decorated to the nines. Any event I've ever been to here has also been ran incredibly smoothly. From the valet to the servers everything is always on point. I've never been here for a wedding but I can imagine it's spectacular. The huge floral arrangements in the hallway, the way the halls are decorated, it just feels rich and elegant. The food is also always delicious. They go above and beyond for their cocktail hour. It's always a home run. Fresh and delicious and with so many options. If you ever have the chance to attend and event here, do it. If you're looking for a venue, I highly suggest checking them out.

I had recently visited the Venetian for a tour for to check out the venue for my wedding ceremony and reception. I had a couple of tours scheduled and this was my first one. They have a covered awning at the main entrance which is great especially if there is inclement weather. And they have a large parking lot. Upon entry, you enter the foyer and its so spacious and beautiful. There is a stunning vased flower display in the center and definitely a place where I saw guests taking pictures. We waited while waiting for their event coordinator to begin our tour and just quicked wandered the foyer area. There was a giant staircase and a lovely indoor fountain. We were shortly welcomed by Elizabeth and begun our tour. She showed us around the foyer and asked what our plans are, how many people we were expecting, and when we were looking to host the party. We started our tour downstairs and she showed us the cocktail hour room. It was a spacious room in which a variety of stations would be available and some passed appetizers as well. There was also a nice outdoor space that would be available but it was raining that day and didn't get to look outside. We then walked across the hall to the ballroom. They have 2 ballrooms--and can host 2 parties at once. We had viewed the smaller of the 2 ballrooms. It was a spacious room and had a big dancefloor--which was a plus! There was a nice staircase for the wedding party entrance which I really liked. We also saw they had some uplighting that Elizabeth had showed us as well and the variety of colors that they could be based on our color scheme which was nice to see. I also LOVED the beautiful crystal chandeliers. We had then went upstairs and saw the ceremony space. The ceremony space was a beautiful white room and had rows of chairs for the guests-- I had envisioned soo many ways to decorate that room. We then also saw a nice holding room and the groom and bridal suites. Elizabeth had then brought us to the office and showed us their event package that showed menus and explained the costs. She was very thorough with explaining everything. After our visit we took a quick visit to the garden in the front and there was another beautiful fountain and gazebo which are perfect for wedding photos. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and thought the Venetian was a beautiful venue. Elizabeth was wonderful and was able to answer our questions while we were there.

The holy grail of venues. The inside is lavish and clean. The parking is terrible, best bet is to valet.

I…read morehave been to a few Beefsteaks in my day, and while salad might be OK, and a little ice cream at the end sweetens the pot, ya gotta bring the Beef! Fercryinoutloud, that's the name of the game, Beefsteak! A little background: Beefsteak is a communal dinner, frequently done as a fund raiser for an organization. It is quite common in southern Passaic County, NJ, and almost unknown outside the area. Teams, churches, civic clubs, and community groups run these dinners as a get together, end-of-season, or kick-off gathering. The menu is Salad, Ziti, Beefsteak, and dessert. There are a few variations, like various cold antipasti like pickles and olives, or at fancier versions a whole platter of nice Italian salumi. The focus is on the Beef itself. the beef is tenderloin, sliced thin, dredged in butter, and served on a really thin piece of Italian bread. The waiter holds a plastic cafeteria tray lined with wax paper, and covered with these little open-faced sandwiches. You grab 2 or 3 off the tray each time the waiter comes by, and the the fun begins. Some guys will just fold the thing in half and eat the meat and bread together. More will eat only the meat, and stack up the bread in front of them, like poker chips. Sometimes, everyone will pool their bread and build a tower/castle structure. Giresi's beef has been really nice quality tenderloin, I am guessing it is the Australian type, based upon the size of it and the prevailing prices. Very tender, mostly medium-rare, and the perfect amount of butter and salt. I have experienced some dry and not salted beef recently, and Giresi's was far superior. The next time you need to organize a dinner, call Giresi and you will not be disappointed!

It was strange handing it over to someone else but Amanda ran everything like a well oiled machine. The food was so fresh and our company raved about the pasta especially. Delicious! We will definitely be using them again, as will some of our guests.

Being a…read morefirst-timer here, I ordered my usual litmus test dishes of chicken tikka masala and saag paneer (the classics), along with goat kolhapuri, butter chicken, and accompaniments of garlic naan and mango lassi. The chicken lollipop appetizer arrived looking the part - hot, crispy, and slightly zesty - but unfortunately didn't deliver on its visual promise. The dough was too thick and the meat rather rubbery, so the execution wasn't up to par. The mains, however, were redeeming. The gravy in the chicken tikka masala was delectable, and we enjoyed this as well as the kholapuri (which we asked for "extra spicy" but was just medium spicy to me - I'm sure others would disagree lol). My child loved his butter chicken. Both dishes featured substantial chunks of chicken. The saag paneer deserves to be mentioned for having a rough-chopped texture that I prefer, looking like actual spinach and not the zealously over-puréed green smoothie so many Indian restaurants inexplicably trot out. A touch over-salted, but otherwise tasty, and with an abundance of paneer. The lassi and garlic naan were both great. Portions are generous, and it's BYOB. Should you forget to bring something inebriating, a liquor shop is conveniently located just a couple of doors down. Owner/manager Austin is so welcoming and personable, earning this place extra hospitality points. I appreciate a business operator who is attentive to customers and shows genuine interest and concern. It makes a difference.
