However, with my husband graduating to heaven, I had not been into the store for awhile. I had bought 2 Tall Amsterdam metropole amsterdam in black and brown and a Women's Leather Ankle Boot. All were hurting a bunion on my left foot. Ray saw me come in the door and ran to hug me while saying how wonderful it was to see me. He immediately showed me one of the two inserts could be removed in both tall boots to make them wider, but he also took the left of all 3 boots and another dress shoe that needed stretching at the bunion area. He understood the pain as he said he had bunion surgery on both feet. He was supposed to go on lunch break but instead fixed all my shoes while I went to get something to eat. He told me to come back anytime if that was not enough with the leather softener and stretcher or if I needed anything else. All shoes fit SO much better! You cannot get better service than that. I recently attended an event at the Millenia Mall location of Jimmy Choo. The occasion was held to…read morepromote both Jimmy Choo's Spring 2023 Collection and Winter Park Fashion Week. A portion of the sales proceeds benefited the non-profit organization Touched by Type 1 which raises funds to find a cure and inspire those with diabetes to thrive. Besides perusing the London-based fashion house's newest shoes, handbags, accessories and fragrances, I had the opportunity to meet Sarah G, who hosted the event at Jimmy Choo and whose company is organizing Winter Park Fashion Week. I also have to give kudos to a Jimmy Choo employee, Corinne C., who was friendly and accommodating in answering my questions and assisting during my time at their location. I truly enjoyed my time meeting Jimmy Choo staff members along with the models, make-up artists and others who will be attending the many trunk shows and designer promotions prior to the big runway event on Saturday, February 25, 2023. I took a pair of shoes to the store to be sent off for repair. I entered (as the store was empty but it was early) and was NOT GREETED. I spoke and explained why o was there and what I needed done. Once viewing my shows (valued at 2200.00) I was treated slightly better. I was told that I would be called and NEVER RECEIVED any communication about my shoes. When I decided to personally check 1 MONTH later, I entered the store yet again NOT GREETED. I Stated why I was there and I was spoken to as if I could never have shoes there. After retrieving my shoes I was offered water for the mistake. WATER GIRL BYE!!! Just know they will NEVER get my money. Seems like every pair that I wanted they did not have my size or they did not fit correctly. Bummer. I also take really good care of all my footwear. These boots are stamped inside, as being leather. When a back portion of each boot began peeling off, I contacted Rieker. They admitted parts of the boot were in fact, imitation leather, I expressed disappointment at their deceptive labeling. They are now giving me the run around, expecting me to find receipt and return to local store. Really? They should stand behind their product. I will definitely be leery of their so called leather shoes in the future. Deceptive and Defective shoes!!! I have never experienced someone so helpful; she really went above and beyond with that move. She even asked him to walk with her in them to ensure the right fit.
