Just had the craziest experience tonight at this store. My 16 yr old had picked out 3 Nike items…read moreand went to the dressing room to quickly try on (she's wearing pull in shorts, loose cropped tank and slip on birks) a sweatshirt, baggy sweatpants and a tank top. Attendant came over and said "the manager said I can't let you in since it is 4 mins to close". I said it's 3 items and she can be quick. I asked to see the manager because I didn't really think a manager would do that. I turn around to another girl who greeted us with much aggression immediately and said the manager is coming but will say the same thing. I explained that she would be quick and we live out of town and really don't want to buy them if we can't try them on. She said "we'd rather you didn't buy them than try them on". I looked at my daughter who was in shock and asked her if she wanted to buy without trying since it was her money and she set them down. The girl proceeded to yell in a rude manner as we walked out. I will NEVER go back there. Scheel's will have my business from now on and I know that it truly doesn't matter to the employees at Dicks (this was clear as glass after tonight) but in case someone values even the basic in customer service, I'm sharing this review. I am still just shocked by all of this!!

One day the app will state that a delivery will be delivered today, never arrived or plants I ordered show up as dead. It will never be better than Amazon. Perhaps Walmart wanted a haphazardly built website, because they do not care about products, other than groceries. I pulled up and parked in front of the bay. Walked inside, surprise, it's just part of a normal Walmart store, but there's a little waiting room! Shortly after I had a seat Teal came around to ask which oil change I wanted? I told her a standard for $26.99....then...you know what, do the $48.99 synthetic. Teal then said they didn't have the items for the $48.99 service so I opted for the mid grade synthetic at $58.99. From the time I pulled up to the bay until the time I pulled away after paying. was a little under 45 minutes. I liked that the waiting room had a window out to the bay, a little fun. I've lived in LaCrosse,Wi. since 1997. I've probably bought shoes from Rogans 25 times since…read moreremoving here. 6 or 8 months ago I went in and bought a pair of New Balance 990's for $200. I have always chosen to get both the full price and the half price shoes. That day I only got the full price pair due to the price and the associate that day told me I didn't need to keep the receipt because I would be in the system. My name is Steven Wilklow. I have worked in the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and have had at least a dozen phone numbers in the last 10 years. Thursday evening I went in and was told my name and phone numbers were not in the system. I was also told Rogans had updated to a new computer system about a month ago. I went in today ( Friday Oct.1) and asked to speak to a manager. While I was waiting I heard 4 or 5 customers told they must keep the paper receipt. The Manager on duty gave me the same story as the associate did the evening before. I am a bigger guy and sometimes speak loudly, but having worked in corrections I know better than to act physically in an inappropriate manner. I had the box that said Rogans and the price clearly marked on the box. I argued with the Manager and he told me at least 7 or 8 times I needed a proof of receipt. As I slowly backed out of the store and he continued to tell me I needed a receipt. When we got between the 2 doors he finally physically assaulted me. He didn't shove me. He didn't push me. He gave me 2 stiff hands directly into my upper rib cage about 3 inches below my left and right nipples. I was a bit stunned. The fact that the nature of the force he used and the way he did it was totally out of line. I called the police. They explained my options. That manager crossed a line. I have a degree in business and extensive customer service training. What he did to me would be considered assault in most business situations. He should be fired or severely reprimanded. I told the officers that I would try to get this situation rectified by contacting Rogans corporate complaints department.
