I've bought a pistol from them in the past but I will never do business here again. Another gentleman there suggest I check from their competitor down the street, again, instantly tubby tuned in and straight up lied about what Monsoor's had for inventory. I went down to Monsoor's and got exactly what I was looking for.

Just had the craziest experience tonight at this store. My 16 yr old had picked out 3 Nike items…read moreand went to the dressing room to quickly try on (she's wearing pull in shorts, loose cropped tank and slip on birks) a sweatshirt, baggy sweatpants and a tank top. Attendant came over and said "the manager said I can't let you in since it is 4 mins to close". I said it's 3 items and she can be quick. I asked to see the manager because I didn't really think a manager would do that. I turn around to another girl who greeted us with much aggression immediately and said the manager is coming but will say the same thing. I explained that she would be quick and we live out of town and really don't want to buy them if we can't try them on. She said "we'd rather you didn't buy them than try them on". I looked at my daughter who was in shock and asked her if she wanted to buy without trying since it was her money and she set them down. The girl proceeded to yell in a rude manner as we walked out. I will NEVER go back there. Scheel's will have my business from now on and I know that it truly doesn't matter to the employees at Dicks (this was clear as glass after tonight) but in case someone values even the basic in customer service, I'm sharing this review. I am still just shocked by all of this!!

I was looking for some cheap used football cleats. Found tubs full of them in no particular order all tied together. After five minutes of sorting, which I feel is what someone else is probably getting paid to do, I walked to Dick's and found a pair for $40. Your loss. I will not be back unless I take up frisbee golf.

The call was put on hold and dropped twice during the transfer. Third time was put on hold while the department was paged, before being dropped again. Here's the scoop from an experienced sales and marketing person, this is not how customers should be treated. (Yup, I said "customer"!) When a person calls you three times for the same thing, it means they want to know that you have what they need, hence, they are a customer. When you fail repeatedly to provide them with the information they seek, they don't think of you the next time they need something else that may be related to their first failed search. Hopefully, the folks at Ace of La Crosse will see this, and have a team meeting, about how important satisfying a customer's curiosity by answering a simple question, can be a crucial first step in getting a customer.
