I went in & wasn't greeted by either of the staff members. They were in their own personal conversation, so I just browsed. I couldn't find anything cute or in my size. I just needed plain black tennis shoes. The one pair I saw looked like someone was walking on the back of the heels, so there's no way I was buying them. I ended up leaving and going to DSW only to buy those same black tennis shoes minus the run down heel. I'm disappointed. There wasn't anything that caught my eye this time around & the staff wasn't even friendly enough to speak when I entered or when I left. So much for customer service. The store was neat and clean though. So, that was a plus.

They won't cover or reimburse me for the original shipping cost OR the shipping cost associated with returning them to get a "full" refund. That full refund would likely work out to actually be something like a 25-35 percent refund after me paying around 30 dollars for shipping and having absolutely nothing to show for it.

I stopped into Dick's the other day for a can of Mace. I walk downtown daily and have had a few…read morealmost-altercations with drivers who don't understand they need to stop for pedestrians who are halfway across cross walks with the walk signal, so I wanted to arm myself in case I ever encounter an extra aggressive motorist. I used to have a can on hand when I worked in a fairly dangerous part of North Philly (that I never used), but that stuff expires after a few years, so it was time to refresh! When I walked in with my mom, we were immediately greeted and assisted with finding the Mace. They actually had a large selection of cans, which I thought was pretty random but nice. I chose the pink one without tear gas for $15 and was quickly on my way. The rest of the store seemed clean and well-designed, but I didn't stick around to browse. This location is in the Willow Lawn shopping center surrounded by a bunch of other chains, but parking was easy on Sunday. I'd return for sporting goods or some more Mace if needed in the future. Let's hope I never have to use it!

I decided to visit ASAP. They have an online store too. I came to the store because I wasn't sure what to look for and I wanted to try on the slippers. Luca assisted me and was incredible. I told him exactly what I was looking for. He measured my feet and told me to always judge shoes while standing up. He grabbed a few different sizes for me so I could get a feel for what I liked. I appreciated how he explained that there were different widths based on letter. He was amazing. He held onto my slippers behind the counter so I could browse the store after. He kindly pointed out the different sections of the store too. When I was done exploring, the lady at the cash register was super kind. She helped me sign up for their rewards program. I'm so grateful I stopped by. I highly recommend coming here for all your dancewear needs, especially if you're looking for a great spring sale.

Rosemary is a BEAST!!!! My daughter had a pointe shoe fitting a couple weeks ago and Rosemary…read moreworked really hard to find a pair of shoes that would work for my kiddo (her feet have a huge size difference). Well after the first time my daughter danced in her new shoes her left foot was bleeding and in a great deal of pain, so I made another appointment to get her a shoe which would work for her left foot. About a minute (no seriously...it was just a minute) after I made the appointment Rosemary herself called to talk to me about the problem. She assured me that she would figure something out and she did. She spent so much time with my daughter getting the exact right fit and really listening to my daughter every step of the way. I'm sorry to be carrying on so but I just am so grateful to Rosemary. If you need any ballet/dance supplies I think Ellman's Dance is worth the drive, all the staff I've worked with are great.
