I finally decided to settle for a pair of new sandals. After trying on several different pairs I was able to find a comfortable black leather strap one by Vionic which is a name I'm familiar with. Although the store was not set up for social distancing I was pleased that everyone was following the guidelines and wearing masks as well. Course this store has masks for sale as well. Facing a soggy weekend for my immenent trip to Philadelphia I decided to get rain boots to prevent my sneakers from getting washed out. I got a nice saleslady who measured my feet and we tried on different pairs of boots. Rain boots can usually size up or down based on the cut so it's best to try things on. I finally decided upon a pair of Hunter rain boots and found that my shoe orthotic fits in it which will make it easier to walk. They carry a good selection of shoes from name brands as well as shoe accessories. The orthotics they gave me to try didn't work so I'm glad that my sneaker ones did. Most definitely will return in the future to obtain slippers and boots.
