I felt, overall, the prices ranged from inexpensive to expensive. A small pile of knit head wraps caught my eye in the back of the store. They had different colors with each having embroidery and some sequins/rhinestones. I had my heart set on a gray, knit head wrap with bright turquoise and black embroidery all over it. It was $35 but one of the owners took an extra $5 off. Sold. While I paid for the wrap, the owner and cashier struck up conversation with my daughter and I. They were very friendly but then again, my daughter has a way of charming the pants off of people. Of all the things I purchased on my trip, this purchase at Lola was the one I am most excited about. My guess is that there is some ulterior motive involved which I won't get into here but suffice to say, our experiences with this place were excellent and we found the proprietors extremely engaging and they had an artistic outlook and philosophy which was very refreshing compared to many of the stores in the area which are just selling touristy nick-knacks. I just wish they had a website because I would love to buy some headpieces and other articles of clothing to use for our fashion photography work.
