Been shopping at this place for years but was irked by the comments and rude behavior by a small blonde/blue eyed lady today. They had put an item SUPER high and out of reach (which for years was never there). I had a friendly stranger help me reach the item and the rude manager/worker insinuated he stole them since she saw him take them down. When I offered to give the item back (since she was being rude to us about it) she didn't want to. The nice stranger offered to put it back and she said "yeah you can put it back IF you can reach" which he laughed at (also appalled by the rude comment) as she insinuated he was too short. I mentioned this to the cashier as it ruined my shopping experience and she mentioned it was her boss and she was quote "stressed" and people steal a lot there. Not sure how you can get "stressed" working in a small town folding tourist tees and trucker hats. My friend overheard her talking to another customer and mentioned she felt she was on a 'power trip' by her response to the old man. Hope they improve their customer service, it ain't that hard to be friendly. read more

Drawn West is NOT A FAMILY-FRIENDLY store. I have been in this store probably 10 times when I'm in Prescott. I went in this week to buy a lamp and when I was checking out, right on the check-out counter, at a child's level, were gum packets with horrific, inappropriate sayings on them (i.e. You're a M****F*****) right where any 5 year old could read them. I was so appalled and offended and upset of the inappropriateness in the item's location and content, so I told the girl with short brown hair at the counter that the gum should be moved where a child couldn't read it, and she shrugged her shoulder with a half-smile, as if she didn't care about our children reading such inappropriate comments. This made me very disillusioned with a supposedly, family-friendly store who didn't care that they were harming our children with such offensive language easily readable at the counter level. I told the lack of customer-service agent behind the counter that I wanted a refund as I had just paid for it, but hadn't even held it yet, because I do NOT want to support a store that doesn't care about being offensive to innocent children, but was told they don't do refunds. Even though she had just rang it up. I asked to speak to manager, owner or someone, but was told after texting manager that they could not refund my item. I will NEVER support any store that has such a callous, disrespectful attitude towards a customer's concern or young children. read more

I love this shop. They have a variety of stuff from decor to clothing and boots. I unfortunately forgot my jacket with my eyeglasses in the pocket during my last visit. Despite what the Yelp listing shows, Drawn West features Men's and Women's clothing. In Men's the selection is small and features Western fancy shirts and jackets by Scully, Rockmount, etc. They also carry a pretty nice selection of hats, not all Western, belts, buckles, boots, some jewelry, t-shirts, and all manner of souvenirs. The shop is pretty well packed with merchandise, floor to ceiling, some of which requires help from sales staff to get to. There was plenty of staff available when I went in, and the young woman who assisted me with trying on sport coats was friendly and accommodating. The shop is clean and pretty well kept, although there is so much merchandise that things are a bit cramped in spots. But it is a fun place to browse to find something western and really unique. read more

While visiting Prescott in February 2021, We ventured into Drawn West because of the beautiful Moroccan lamps in the window. But inside the store there were many more beautiful surprises. We bought two of the lamps. Kept one for ourselves and gave the other to my parents as a gift and they just love it! We recently redecorated our bedroom and decided another lamp would go great in there. So I called the store from California, and Jocelyn was kind enough to send me pictures of a few colors I was thinking about and even went out of her way to ship one to me on her own time. She's the definition of small town friendliness in hospitality. read more

The store has really awesome stuff, from apparel to cowboy boots and from jewelry to postcards. Everything is so unique and has a really cool vibe: the T-shirts and jackets are extremely soft. This place kind a has a range of prices so it's hard to categorize it because somethings are really inexpensive and others are really expensive. The thing I really don't like though is that they don't require their customers to wear masks, so people were walking in without masks; and because the aisles are so small it's nearly impossible to keep social distance. read more

We frequent Prescott often! At least once a month. It's just our getaway spot! Drawn West knows us by our names, especially Jess. These women are so welcoming and always willing to help to the best of their ability. The store is always crowded due to tourists, which is expected, but they always manage to acknowledge everyone and offer assistance. Their selection is amazing! From clothing, to home decor, to western wear, to souvenir style items.. you name it. They even have a room in the back of their store just for clearance items! What a great store for the locals And visitors from all over. Even on the busiest of days the owner and staff work hard attending to everyones needs. I have seen first hand how awesome, friendly and helpful they are to all; even with the most unruly customers on what seemed to be an extremely busy day of the holiday season. What a cool store! Lots of western souvenirs and tee shirts for the tourists. The staff were very helpful and we went from picking thru tourist trap items to take home to Virginia for our friends and neighbors to admiring wonderful clothing items and footwear. I was compelled to pick up a great duster right out of High Plains Drifter and my wife found an astounding leather fringed jacket with silver and turquoise embellishment. It is a wonderful jacket that she will wear for years to come. We found the staff was enthusiastic and very helpful whether looking thru tourist goods or serious shopping for clothing styles and sizes. They were helpful on checking out in spite of the large crowd of visitors. We expect to return again on our next visit to grab more treasures to give to our friends where we ran out of suitcase space on this trip for the holidays. There were so many things to explore. It is so convenient to Whiskey Row and Prescott Brewery so you cannot beat the location. read more

I've always enjoyed shopping in this unique and fun store although I had a strange experience when I more recently shopped there.. so strange that I won't go back. I paid for an item with cash, was refused a receipt, and was told that they don't issue receipts for cash purchases. All stores offer compensation if you purchase an item that needs to be returned for any reason but most stores require a receipt for refund. If you decide to shop at this store, do not pay in cash!! This is an extremely strange policy and it would be nice to hear an explanation as to reason!! read more

My family and I went to this store, there were two clerks and the self proclaimed owner there. Not only was no assistance offered, but dirty looks and snotty attitudes were given. My 8 year old son was looking at polished rocks and was given permission to pick a few out for purchase, when one of the clerks accused him of stealing and searched his pockets and patted him down, without my consent, of course finding nothing. I then complained to the owner who said '' You hillbillies need to leave, you don't have enough money to buy anything in this store''. I do not think I have ever had a less pleasant experience in a store in my life. I'm also not sure which part of my appearance made her think i had no money. Was it my $400 boots? My clean shave? Or maybe it was just her piss poor attitude. At any rate i would certainly avoid this place at all costs. read more

Loved this store! We stopped by while vising Prescott during our weekend get-away. It was a super busy Saturday night, but the woman behind the counter was really helpful and friendly. I stopped in here today and so glad I did! I got the best service from Elizabeth... she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and not pushy. Just plain delightful! She showed me many different styles, even pulled things out of the back for me to look at. I left with a new pair of ahhh-mazng ostrich cowboy boots and a beautiful suede jacket with fringe. I entered this store on a Saturday afternoon; it was empty except for two employees who were both inside the cash-wrap. I asked if they had any 'Made in America' merchandise and they said we're not sure (without moving beyond the cash-wrap). I asked 'can you please look for me?'. Not an unruly request, right? The sales person seemed to begrudge the fact I needed help but eventually I helped myself and purchased some t-shirts for myself, wife and daughter. I wanted to try on a shirt for and asked where the dressing room was. The help pointed and said 'back there'....(without moving beyond the cash-wrap). Really? A week later my wife took back two of the t-shirts for my daughter as they were too small. when my wife went to return the goods they made her feel like she had stolen the t-shirts with their condescending attitude. I am sure this review will not hold this retailers feet too the fire...they are basically a souvenir shop with a great location. Apparently their customer service does not matter as they have a built in tourist business. I love to shop local and support the community but I will no longer visit this store. read more

If you plan on paying cash for your items at this store, don't plan on getting a receipt. The question is "why?" I realized, after driving my two hour drive home and opening the bag, that I did not have a receipt for the two jewelry items I purchased, so I called the store and asked that it be emailed or mailed to me. No can do, said the salesgirl. "It's posted at the register that if you pay cash, we don't provide receipts." The store is so loaded with items, I certainly never saw such a posting, nor did I expect that I wouldn't receive a receipt as proof of purchase OR if I needed to return the items for some reason. This is BAD business practice and very unprofessional. I wouldn't shop at this store again just on principle. read more

Can I put less than one star? Literally the worst experience ever. Was there with my daughters and their friends. One of the friends was looking at some earrings RIGHT BY THE REGISTER. She put them back but one of the "ladies" at the register accused her of stealing. IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS and in a very an accusatory tone. My daughter called her out on her disrespectful tone and she proceeded to defend herself. She had no idea the girl was with me and was startled when she realized we were together. On the way out I said the my girls "there's a right and wrong way to say something and she should have said it differently". The women behind the register yelled at us on the way out. Just when we thought we'd never have to deal with that store again ANOTHER employee RAN across the street and yelled at us on the sidewalk and accused us of stealing. Let me be clear NONE OF THE GIRLS STOLE THE CRAPPY $2 earrings. To be accused of something they didn't do and in such a public way is beyond unacceptable. And to be chased down on the street is just insane. The employees are the worst. read more

My mother and I fell in love with this store when we were in Prescott, Arizona. The merchandise was beautiful, well crafted and amazingly very reasonably priced. We shopped there 3 times, buying beautiful beaded bracelets, adorable animal themed change purses, t-shirts, greeting cards and onesies. The adult clothing was also very appealing.
