New Year's Eve dinner here couldn't have been any better! This is most definitely the best Chinese…read morefood in the area. We were seated right away and greeted at the table with a cheerful waitress who asked us for our drink orders. The menus followed quickly and she kept the empty plates removed and water glasses filled throughout the meal. She brought take home containers without being asked and provided a plastic bag to place them in. As good as the service was, the food was even better! My husband had eaten here years ago and remembered the DuDu Pot, so he ordered it again. He said it was even better than he remembered! I ordered the Szechuan Shrimp and Scallops. Lots of tender seafood and colorful vegetables in a just right spicy sauce. My daughter had the Hunan Couple. Two different sauces, sweet chili and black bean. But the best thing was the Seafood Hot and Sour Soup for Two. It was loaded with seafood and was large enough for actually 4 people, we took half of it home. All the portions are generous. You won't leave here hungry! The restaurant itself is clean and decorated with typical Chinese art in typical Chinese colors of red and black. Tastefully done, not too kitschy. My first time here and now I want to come back to try other menu items and to get some more of that delicious soup!

The chicken was cooked well but I did want to see some vegetables with my entree. My daughter had the General Tso's Tofu and again, no veggies.

Made a trip to China, as i rode in on my rickshaw i finally found the fine establishment it's def…read morehidden behind the foxs... as i have placed this place for years and never knew there was a Chinese joint here.... Got a sampling of foods and here what i got to say... The Bourbon Chicken took me down to bourbon street all i needed Was a cocktail and a whiff of sewage and i would be back in New Orleans... but for real this was a real good dish, the sauce was excellent and the meat was good.. better then some of the other bourbon chickens i got at other joints so two thumbs up.. it will slap your taste buds... on a side not the bourbon chicken had mushrooms and I'm not a fan. Also is loaded with green peppers and onions... could include a bit more bird but hey what do i know.. i enjoyed it greatly Next up i took a dive and made a splash in the wonton soup... it was pretty damn good..: and i have had good wonton soup and some really bad wonton soup this is a positive they def do it right again two thumbs up Next up i need a little excitement so I'm gonna snap into a egg roll... and this right here is a okay egg roll wasn't overly greasy but not the best i have had... it's ur standard Chinese pork egg roll..nothing to write home about better yet nothing to write Yelp about... Got some fried dumplings to finish out the round of appetizers and schnacks!!! Very good dumpling and good dipping sauce two thumbs way up you'll be licking your chops like a beagle chasing a rabbit... Finally it is time for our double main event First up Honey chicken with pork fried rice And finally From the east Being accompanied by Zuo Zongtang This is Generalllllll Tsoooooos!!!! Both are good My only gripe neither one is spicy and i haven't seen peppers in either.. that doesn't mean it's bad just not spicy. The rice isn't bad average pork fried rice but it's not dry so i gotta give it a thumbs up So overall this is a really good Chinese establishment i will be back and if you want good Chinese u won't intentionally pass this place up as it's a local gem... support your local Chinese restaraunts.. well time to eat a fortune cookie and head outta here... not need false hope from a cookie anyways be good and be-agle!!

Took a while to make my food. Longer than their original estimate…read more Also the food all tastes like it has some type of cheap sweetener. I would say it's " good enough"

This is by far the worst Chinese food I've ever had. If you…read morelike your meal with mostly onions, canned water chestnuts, over cooked shrimp, frozen peas and carrots, and too much or little flavor, this is for you. I arrived at the restaurant and placed an order to go. Unlike the website, you aren't able to order small or large so I was just given the large size. It didn't really matter either way. The curry chicken had so many onions it should be listed as onion curry and not chicken. The sauce wasn't added or mixed correctly and you can taste the gritty flavor. It had to have been over a pound + of onions and another pound of tasteless frozen peas and carrots. The same goes for the shrimp and lobster sauce. Over a pound + of canned water chestnuts and another of the frozen peas and carrots. But this dish was almost tasteless. The shrimp were way over cooked and very chewy and hard. I also ordered the won ton soup. The broth had a decent flavor but was 90% wonton and little meat. The only good thing I ordered was the frozen and fried crab rangoons. I'm honestly not sure how they are still in business with other great chinese restaurants in the area

Ah yes, this is review number Maestro or Maestra if you please, number two of this great restaurant! Seated less than five minutes! They have different Asian food varieties on the menu! The Udon, I am used to soup form! Big pieces of noodles, chicken in it, slices carrots! There are two of us that eat here! The theory is a restaurant has be good if you see the Ethnic People of that restaurant eating there! We saw at least three other parties, all appeared to be Asian! The food is authentic! Green tea is extra $2.50 before tax, not too bad I would guess! We ordered two different items! I would recommend the restaurant!

The wonton soup tasted very light, either prepared incorrectly or watered down, or from a bag, hard to say. Needs msg or less water. Did not deliver dr pepper either. Not sure if they have different rice sizes, but ordered a large and got the same amount as I ordered with small. Oddly enough, 20min after store closed for the night, my card was used for two attempted Amazon charges on it. Never had unauthorized charges on that card before giving it to them, that were not simply from me forgetting to unlock card. I made the mistake of recommending them after a first encounter. Will never make that mistake again and will never order from this place again. NEVER give them your card info, not saying they stole it, yet, but seems very odd timing. Or store POS system is compromised. Perhaps something for them to look into.
