This is the very first and only item I'm trying return from many purchases I've made on Dick's online store. The store manager told me they can't accept the return because the shoes are creased, dirty and it looks like I've used them outdoor a bunch of times, after I told him I used it twice indoor. Basically he called me a liar. They asked me why is it creased. I told them you can have a brand new pair and take 10 steps in them, they will crease due to the design. I even offered to demonstrate with a new pair, then he immediately said "we don't sell those shoes here." He mentioned that he's been selling shoes for 18 years and my return is the 5th time someone trying to do the same thing that day. They keep asking me why didn't I try the shoes inside my home? Well, they're basketball shoes so I had to try it at an indoor run. What am I gonna do, play basketball inside my house? They also asked why I ordered it if I know it's half a size bigger, so I told them that it's recommended to order half a size bigger for Nike sports shoes. Honestly I don't know why I spent so much time arguing with them when they can just tell me that it's against policy and that's the end of it. I could have just left to do the return online (which I did, smoothly.) At least now I know why it's called DICK'S Sporting Goods, because they hire mostly dicks to work at this location.

Before leaving for a San Francisco Giants baseball game, I discovered that the stadium does not allow any outside seating. When I returned home, I visited this Big 5 location and spoke with a manager to return all three seats. There was an issue with the itemized items on my receipt, which caused the manager some difficulty, as the bar codes on the receipt did not match the codes on the merchandise. The manager resolved my issue within a few minutes, and I received my refund. The store manager was very helpful, friendly, and professional, and is to be commended for providing great customer service.

After hearing nothing, I called around 8:00 PM to check on the status. I was then told that the item had been sold earlier that morning and that my order would need to be canceled. What is especially frustrating is that my order was placed before the item was sold to someone else. Had the store processed online orders when they were received, the hat should have been set aside for my order instead of being sold to a later customer. Because my order was not handled in a timely manner, someone else was able to purchase the item that I had already paid for. On top of that, nobody contacted me all day to let me know there was an issue with my order. If the item was unavailable, I should have been notified immediately instead of having to call myself nearly 10 hours later. Had I been informed earlier, I could have made other arrangements. Unfortunately, this was a birthday gift for my dad, and now I am left scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute. I understand inventory mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication and failure to prioritize or properly process online orders was extremely disappointing.
