She is not your typical groomer in that she's all about the job. Thea is all about your pet, first and foremost. She will get down on the floor to accommodate your pet's needs if that's how the pet is most comfortable. By our third appt, my dog was getting upset when it was time for Thea to leave. Not when she came, but when she was finished and leaving. She worked so hard to earn his trust, and once she had he'd claimed her as his!

He had a nic on his ear that had been treated but I wasn't told about. The lions groom was not good. Forget the lion part, the groom was uneven and not pretty in general. I hate having to review a local business poorly but I would not take my cats here for a groom again. My understanding is that they do dogs very well! Two stars for the fact the people were nice, my baby's survived the ordeal and werent severely injured.

She was not doing well today, and I needed to bring her in to be seen. Both my boyfriend, and myself called and explained to the receptionist what had happen and we were told, "sorry we are booked today, we can see her in 4 days". I could not believe a client of over 16 years (including another dog) would not be told come right away. In fact, the Urgent care we were sent to did not treat seizures, so they sent us to an ER vet. Sadly, we will now be finding a new vet. I hope the vets correct this problem, so the next client isn't treated so rudely.

It's crazy how I'll see her 8 times in one year and then not again for two years. And no matter when I call her, she always makes time for me. Her methods are flawless. Her knowledge is impeccable, and her skill level and cool headed nature is something that you would have to witness to be able to appreciate. Today I saw her for one of my feral cats Clementine, who was presenting with a UTI. I gave Clemmie a little gabapentin to chill her out. Once she hit the cold air, it was game on. When I got her inside the mobile med/van there was no fuss. They decided to give her a little sedative, but before the shot went in, she shot out like a rocket, and while that cat ran around the mobile climbing the walls Dr. Hawkins just started talking and visiting with me. We just ignored the cat ... and she stopped, and they picked her up and she was handled with such grace and love and care. It reminds me why I love this Vet so much. I know she's not taking new clients because she's maxed out. I don't know how she would receive anything less than five stars... you obviously don't understand or appreciate the gift of this doctors expertise. And she comes to your house with a medical van prepped for any kind of surgery!!' Also, shwed her a picture of what I wanted and she confirmed that she understood. When I picked up dog he looked terrible. She had trimmed his face and muzzle which we made clear shouldn't be touched. She also trimmed his head which she was directed not to do. In fact, my dogs head was cut shorter than his body and it was suppose to be just the opposite. Lastly, she was also suppose to express his anal glands but when I got home and was trying to even out his cut I found dried poop on his butt so I'm not sure she ever even expressed or cleanded his butt area. One more thing at $200 it was the most expensive and the worst grooming he has ever received! I would never recommend even to my worst enemy!

The services are very reasonably priced. The owner is very helpful and flexible. They also bring in any packages left at my door when they come to walk the dog. It is nice not to worry about my packages getting destroyed by afternoon storms.
