The dogs are always excited to go to camp. They really go above and beyond for their customers here. The kennel is *always* clean (unlike many of the others). Roco and Macy love the doggie pool in the summertime. Doggie parents, this is the place to go! Side note: the owner,Brenda is an excellent groomer, our friend Kathy takes her poodle, Laney there every 2 months for a haircut and Laney always looks like she's ready for the show ring after leaving. We went on vacation to OC - she came to take care of the usual for our cats & our bunny. Andrea alerted us a few days in that our bunny was not drinking enough water in her opinion. Long story short, his on-again / off-again ear troubles (he's an elderly lop-ear) had become a serious ear infection. When his normal vet said they were too booked/understaffed to take him, Andrea drove him to the nearest vet that would work on a bunny - 40 minutes away! She not only stayed with him, conferred with the vet, got all his meds, but she took him home with her! (Disclaimer: he was pretty sick so I'm sure this is not the norm.) We still have our bunny because of Andrea! This isn't just a business to her - she truly loves animals. When I spoke to the vet on the phone concerning our bunny's treatment, she mentioned how knowledgeable she found Andrea to be & how she thought he would be in good hands until we got back. She was absolutely right! There's not enough praise, gratitude, & admiration I can heap on Andrea & "Take the Lead". Hands down, the best folks to call if you can't take a pet with you on a trip. (Oh, and their rates are really budget-friendly.) A+++ / 5 STARS!

While on a bike ride, we rode past the Baltimore Humane Society that I had not known existed. I got home, Googled BHS, and found that they also had volunteer opportunities. *insert smile here* You can complete an application online to volunteer, and they will quickly get back to you with instructions on what to do next. Fast forward, and I'm at BHS for my first training (DogTown1). You'll have to attend various trainings for whichever tasks you would like to volunteer for. Let me also state that their property is VAST. They even have a pool for the dogs to swim in. *insert smile here* After the training, we were given a tour of the facility. Those pets are LOVED! The volunteers really take care of them, from walking to cleaning and just learning the characteristics of each pet; it's an amazing thing to see. We were also notified of five of the dogs who were going home that day. I look forward to the rest of my volunteer experience.

I decided to never have my dogs there. My husband decided to reserve again with them because we were in a time constriction. I didn't want too, but I decided to do it because there was no other option. I paid half of the money ($440). Two days ago we had an accident happening and unfortunately our vacation will not happen anymore. We called them and requested a cancelation. We did it a week before, which is plenty of time. Over the phone they never said they won't return the money, but when I requested the amount returned they refused. they use venmo/cash for a reason. Have your pets somewhere else. I'm even thinking to take them to court, that's how upset they got me when we already have a lot going on. Post review, response to owner: you did loose our dog, look in your documents for Spike. This was more than 8 years ago. Never wanted to go with you but husband did thinking you all change. Your policy says you can cancel 7 days in advance which we did. Last year we cancelled a month in advance. We have the right to cancel, you have no right (per your policy also) to take our money. But I will take you to court and believe me I will find the bills when you had our dog a few years ago.

20 months ago my wife bought a puppy golden retriever. It was our 2nd dog since our first one died…read morea few months earlier. The new puppy was a pain in the ass. Somehow the wife found Loinhart and she convinced me to come to interview Linda, the owner with her. When Linda told me she's been training dogs for over 25 years, I asked her how much, she swiped my credit card and I left the dog with her. I picked the dog up 10 weeks later. He learned 10 words. And he learned them well! Now the dog is 20 months old and is unbelievably and extremely well behaved. I attribute Leo the dog's manners and attention and calmness and even his health to the 10 weeks that he spent being trained there. If you want a really well behaved dog I highly recommend this lady. She has some funny rules like don't come inside her facility until you're called but if you listen to her, she won't disappoint you. Now 20 months later, the older the dog gets the better he behaves. It's unbelievable how the 10 words he knows takes care of every situation that the dog gets into that needs correcting. Tell her Yasmin's husband recommended her.
