Impressed by Fancy Paws and the friendly customer service. Cynthia is a pleasure to say the least. I have made numerous appts and had to cancel throughout Vero Bch. Much to my disappointment, you'd think that in a city that has a population of upper middle class and affluent residents in high positions socially and career wise. With lovely pups well groomed. **Hypothetically speaking, "They may be using these Services outside of Vero Bch". **Well, moving on to what matters here for you the consumer and Pet Lover. This is what it took for me to get my Beloved Goldendoodle Pup Hannah to her first Spa Visit. She's 4 and a 1/2 mths old. She CAN'T HAVE A CUT Until She's 6 mths Old? Why? She's a mix of Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle. ***The Standard Poodle coat. Would be ruined and she'd end up with a wired haired coat. She does not shed at all(I shed more) sorry, couldn't help myself. Chachi, stay on track:-() Bottom line. Took me almost an hour to get to PSLW. 100% WORTH IT!!! We were greeted by a happy to see us smiling Cynthia and a very friendly crew. A completely open work floor. Cynthia listened to all my concerns and cares. Explained very clearly everything she would do for Hannah. Gathered info from me. Emphasized on points such as NO CRATING (In My Opinion:-\ ): Another PC or Hmmm...sounds good word for Cage. "I don't want to be put I a Crate/Cage for 1 min. **Solely my opinion. I was informed it may take 2 hrs. Maybe less... no Doodle cut. Bath, blow drying, trimming bits of Sasquatch (crazy puppy) hair. Trim around eyes. Starting to look like a Sheep Dog. Nail clipping, filing and smooth buffing, ears cleaned. Etc... I felt comfortable enough to leave go have coffee and grab a bite. I received a call Hannah was ready to go aprox 1 and 1/2hrs. When I saw her she looked amazing no hair cut(Per my request. However, they are all familiar with the Poodle curly no shed undercoat). She looked amazing WOW!! All spiffed up. What a pup!! Her paw PADS nice trimmed of excess hair. I could see her beautiful Teddy Bear Brown round eyes again. This place used to be really good, I went to this place for about five years and a decline in services is an understatement. I took my girl in after she had puppies, her hair was a mess and there was hardly any of it! When I contacted the owner rather then wanting to fix the problem she threatened to post me on some groomers page as a problem, thankfully I have all our correspondence and the before and after videos showing that I paid 75 dollars for a 26 pound dog to have a bath and smell like a wet dog after!!! and bc of these videos and how the owner responded I have had no issues in moving my sweet girl. First time used. I have to say they did a beautiful job with my mini golden doodle. They were very busy so it took very long to finish my dog. Brought her in at 11 am and picked her up a 4:45 pm. jUDY Fancy Paws in Stuart is clean and friendly atmosphere. I have used them for several months now and never been disappointed in their work. I have used several groomers in the area and non come close to the grooming my Giant Schnauzer like Christina at Fancy Paws. It takes special technique and knowledge on how to groom a giant schnauzer and Christina has that experience. She's kind and caring and along with her extraordinary grooming techniques makes my Giant Schnauzer look great and handsome. Christina is also great with any breed.. I would also like to shout out to Laura who also cared for my GS and again the grooming skills this team has you will never be disappointed. My dog is kind of a fluff ball and not too easy to work with for that reason I'm kind of sketchy about taking him to new places since I've had a few ruff experiences, but hair does grow back lol. They have no idea how to cut a Aussiedoodle! I wish they told me that BEFORE they cut my Maggie! I showed a picture of how she looked after her last grooming (done elsewhere). The groomer shaved her so badly she was unrecognizable! Aussiedoodles need their long eyelashes to keep the hair out of her eyes. When I picked her up her whiskers and lashes were cut down as low as they could AND her face was shaved! Horrible horrible horrible read more

First time Molly was here for grooming and I was very impressed how nice she was done and the staff was friendly and professiona.

Was able to get an appointment in just a few days. Staff that answered phone was very friendly. Due to Covid quarantine I wasn't able to go in which made me a little nervous since I wasn't able to see but that's not their fault. My dog looks great and the pricing was reasonable. I wish I had got the name of who groomed her for next time but when picking up they didn't say and I forgot to ask. My only negative was my dog was there 5 hours and I know she is terrified of being crated & the groomers in general so I thought this was a long time. read more

I brought my 4 month old Goldendoodle puppy Daisy Mae in the Fancy Paws this week after the General Manager at another store out in St Lucie West (the place near the Dollar Tree ) handled a situation that I had with the Groomer there in an absolutely appalling and incredibly unprofessional manner. The groomer was actually hostile because I didn't appreciate her blaming my being a bit late for my puppy's grooming appointment- even though I was standing at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come to the desk to sign in- she the groomer said she couldn't groom my dog because of the time and she said she was backed up with 4 dogs "in the back" that she still had to get to. I offered the groomer alternative solutions like just wetting my puppy down and clipping her - I had just Bathed her and even her nails were done so that could ha e been skipped to and the groomer flatly recused to work with me. I asked for the manager because I spend thousands of dollars there and wanted him to know what was going on - she had 20 minutes to go find him to escalate this situation - all while leaving the 4 dogs unattentin the back room - but she couldn't work with me in taking care of my puppy- her other excuse was that it was my puppy's first time and they didn't know if she was aggressive and might bite her - all while my puppy was up trying to lick her hands .. I told the GM this was just BS and if this is how I was being treated I would never step into that store again or spend one more dime there - he cared more about me saying This was BS - he said that was abusive language and maybe I should leave the store now. I am a 50year old disabled woman who has a difficulty getting me and my puppy in and out of the car - that's all - I didn't raise my voice or threaten anyone or anything - just said it was BS that my 4 month old puppy was aggressive- I reported this incident to corporate and told them not one more dollar from me ever. The groomer was overwhelmed and behind in her time management and instead of apologizing and asking if I could move my appointment out - she blamed me and an innocent puppy- Someone needs a career change - Don't bring your dog here to be groomed - it's probably very stressful for the dogs - and they are hidden in the back so you can't see what's going on .... read more

I have two small, long haired dogs. I've been getting them groomed regularly for 12 years and have moved around a bit in that time, so we've had a number of groomers. One of my dogs has terrible skin issues and allergies so she can be a bit of a problem. In 12 years, I've never been as happy with a groomer as I am after taking my dogs to Fancy Paws. I've taken them twice and they not only look perfect, but they clearly don't feel scared to go like they have with other groomers.
